It's not an either/or situation. You can have a healthy sense of skepticism about the media and the government and understand that none of these theories are true.

There is a place for conspiracy theorists who honestly, truly believe in these. They need to be medicated and under psychiatric care.

No, that is incorrect. I believe the "secret" you are referring to (or heard/read about) is that US code-breakers had broken the Japanese Magic code which was used to encrypt Japanese diplomatic traffic.
The US had presented to the Japanese a 10 part message for peace in the Pacific. US code-breakers intercepted a message from the Japanese government to it's embassy in Washington. The embassy was directed to deliver this message to the US government at 1 PM on December 7. US code-breakers had translated 13 parts by December 6 but the critical 14th part, which stated that the Japanese government was breaking off diplomatic relations with the US, until December 7a.
At the time, some in the government questioned the significance of the 1 PM time for delivery.
However, an attack on Pearl Harbor was, obviously, a definite possibility in the minds of many in the government and military.
I suspect that part of this conspiracy theory came about during the 1942 Congressional campaign in which some Republicans thought to blame FDR for Pearl Harbor and pick up some seats in the House and Senate.
For reference, I suggest volume 2 of Forest Pogue's excellent biography of George C. Marshall or Gordon Prange's book, "At Dawn We Slept."

The conspiracies that they listed are:

Brits as in the British government or Brits as in British citizens. Government...probably not. British citizens...possible. What 'official' results. She died of injuries from a car accident, true, it was the circumstances surrounding the accident that I question. Why do you blindly believe what is written in the paper?

Wooo - I think something is up and your so called "double post" is a secret code for something else entirely....

There have been TEN YEARS worth of results and official inquests about Diana's death, and in all that time not ONE shred of credible evidence has been put forth suggesting her death was anything but an accident. It astonishes me that anyone would still think otherwise. But that is the beauty of a conspiracy theory. Whatever wierd or nutty reason someone comes up with, it can never be disproven, so there is still the possibility that someday it COULD be true. There COULD be an alien somewhere in the desert because no one has ever proven conclusively that there ISN'T. The logic is faulty and it just plain doesn't make sense, but people still believe it.
