True Blood Season Two **Spoilers Likely**

what did you think of tonight??? I don't want to say too much in case anyone didn't watch yet :)

I'm loving it.

VERY intruiged by the developments between Hoyt and Jessica.

And Daphne has scratches on her back similar to Sookie's? Shouldn't she be dead? What's up with that?

And why no more of the jealous tension with the porno dialogue from Luke and Jason? At least show us Luke with his shirt off! :rotfl:

Can't wait for the next episode in two weeks.

Oh, and can I admit that I'm kind of excited to find out that HBO is selling the Fangtasia shirts like the one Sookie was wearing tonight. I'm considering getting one. :rolleyes1

It really is shaping up to be an interesting and enjoyable season!

In addition to what has been mentioned, I thought Jason's outburst about his 'best friend' was a very nice way for them to challenge the selective thinking those type of groups use.

And with his change of status, one has to wonder where Lafayette is going.

And yes please more Jason/Luke porno, er I mean tension ;)

So, I LOVED last night's episode!

So many cool things!

The Dallas Vampire hotel where "roomservice" means being able to order hot men. :woohoo:

Sookie meets another telepath.

It looks like the old Lafayette is back!

It seems like EVERYONE at Church Camp wants to jump Jason! :thumbsup2 (Not that I can blame them)

And Sookie's out of town so party at her place! :scared: They'd better clean that up before she finds out!

OMG I loved last night too! I am glad lafayette is back!
and that hotel, omg how quirky, love this,

I was trying to explain this show to my SIL who insists she cant tolerate the blood gore and vampire stuff, but I said you just have to see it, it is way more than that! its funny, quirky, scary, sexy, all in one. hehe

I love this show more every week!

Godric is Eric's maker. That explains a lot!

The telepathic bellman is freaked out and quits . . . .interesting

Tara invites Maryann and her entourage to stay at Sookies house! :scared1: While Sookie isn't even there! :scared1: Oh, this should get interesting!

I'm still really curious about Daphne, the other new shapeshifter. I want to know more about the claw marks on her back like what happened to Sookie from Mary Ann's alter ego/creature thingy.

Oh and I'm so disappointed that Jason isn't getting naked enough.

we just watched it last night, oh it is getting good!!
yes the bathtub scene, kind of thought that was coming, just a matter of time :)

Well that was very interesting...you know I was gonna post something here asking you all what draws you to this show because I had really wanted to like it mainly cuz of my love for Michelle Forbes... but it just wasn't drawing me in (and I didn't watch Season 1). NOW it finally seems like we're going somewhere big and now I'm "in"!!

some random things...

Question--Sookie and Lafayette were both bitten right??...doesn't that make them vampires now??...am I missing something?

Another thing I didn't get was all the "sexy Bill" love (maybe not necessarily on this board) because I just didn't see it AT ALL...till I saw a new pic of the actor at Comic-Con...WOW..that pale makeup does a HUGE disservice to him... I actually thought Eric was the more attractive one even though he does resemble early Bill Pullman... though in real life I'd probably be more drawn to Andy :rolleyes1

Its good to see "Eggs" learning how to act after that god awful Desperate Housewives storyline--not to mention getting a better view of him in general ;)

somebody is actually credited as "Orgy vampire"..interesting resume entry

and finally since we love our pop culture references...did you realize that Hugo was Will's "blind date" from Will and Grace

and 5 bonus points on where you've heard "Hard-Hearted Hannah" before (well you know other then being a song that's probably 80+ years old) Hint... it was sung at the Rusty Anchor. I only caught the last half of the show on the first go-round so I only heard it on the end credits and when I realized what the song was I nearly choked on my beer!!

"Hard Hearted Hannah" was also sung nightly at the Adventurers Club at WDW by Club President Pamelia Perkins. I was never a Golden Girls fan, so I didn't get that reference. To me it was just a happy little memory from the best thing Imagineering ever created.

Bea Arthur also sang it on Maude
an episode with a talent show or something.

:scared1:
Even if true...for you to even write those words...FOR SHAME. I think your membership in the mens club should be reviewed immediately.

No really she did it on maude first - I swear.

Wow.

Someone's a little Golden Girls obssessive.

That's okay. You prattle on all you like about the biddies, and I'll rewatch the True Blood episode. :rotfl2:

Here's the text of the article:

HBO series 'True Blood' launches real Tru Blood bottled beverages to be sold in stores this fall
The once-fictional Tru Blood beverage from the HBO hit series "True Blood" will be coming to life in bottle form this September.

The blood-orange carbonated drink has a slightly tart and lightly sweet flavor that is sure to taste better than the O negative blood consumed by the show's fictional vampires.

Crafted to replicate the appearance of the synthetic blood beverage preferred by the undead in the series, the real-life drink will also be called Tru Blood.

"From its first season, fans have been enamored with the show and have expressed a keen interest in the Tru Blood beverage," added James Costos, vice president of licensing and retail at HBO. "We're extremely excited to be able to bring this original drink to life."

Allan Ball, creator and executive producer of the series, announced the launch of the bottles at the San Diego Comic-Con convention and joked that the drink was a mixture of "wine, vodka, Vicodin, Viagra and Ecstasy" and that it was "completely illegal."

While they will cost an arm and a leg ($16 for a four-pack), curious fang fans will no doubt be stocking up on the drinks when they hit store shelves this fall.

Until then, fans can pre-order Tru Blood at www.HBO.com/store
