I am heading to TRU today. I have a coupon for $10 off when you spend $100. If I use this coupon but my order still comes to more than $75, do you think can I use another coupon for a free $10 gift card when you spend $75?

She can split the order, but then she'd have to spend $175 ($100 to get the first coupon and then another $75 to use the second). I think she was hoping to have $100 order and then use both (which she won't be able to do).

At the TRU that I usually shop at, they used to let you stack them like that. I tried again last week, and the cashier told me that they stopped allowing it. Bummer. She said the register computer wouldn't let the transaction go through. So I assume that's an across-the-board rule, but I guess you could always ask at your store. The worst they could say is no.

You could try it but I don't think it will work. I work at BRU and they recently changed the way the computer accepts coupons. It would have worked before the change, but I'm pretty sure it will kick out one of the coupons now; it won't hurt to try though.

Yeah, you can't do that, but you can get the promo gift cards (like the $10 Hasbro one this week) if you use the $75 or $100 coupon. That works.
