trouble with fastpass+ reservations/annual pass?

Hey everyone
We got our magicbands in the mail for our upcoming stay at WL, and linked them to out APs using MDE, but i still can't make fastpass+ reservations. Error message comes up saying 'valid theme park admission required to make fastpass + reservations'

I thought that linking our passes would count as valid theme park admission :/

I've been trying to make fast pass plus selections tonight as well. I dont have the same problem as you, but the site seems really glitchy!! I just keep hitting "back" then "next" until the glitch goes away. ITs been taking a while at times.
 
We have Florida Resident Seasonal Annual Passes linked to my reservation.
I couldn't make any FAST Pass+ resevations until I got an invite from Disney.
And then I tried for a few days and could not make any reservations, I got the same message where it said I needed valid admission media.
Then I had read on here where someone was able to make their FP+ ressies on the Iphone App, and I tried and was able to make my ressies on the App but not online. It seemed like after I made my first batch of ressies, I was then able to view and make ressies on the web.
 
Do you have your actual APs or just the voucher code for them (meaning you'll activate them when you go down)? I don't think the voucher codes would allow you to book FP+

Having just come back from WDW on Monday, I can tell you the whole system is still very glitchy! It took until the last day of our visit to get all of our fastpass+s in order. I was told by guest relations that it was indeed because of our annual passes and the fact that they don't have their own magic band at this time. Took quite a few trips to guest relations and tinkering with the app, but eventually we got it all straightened out.

On a side note, if you've been picked to try fastpass+ and can't get it working for all members of your party, you can visit guest relations and they can override the system and select your fastpasses for you. Just cross your fingers you get someone who knows what they are doing!

This is definitely odd. The fact that you have received you MB indicates that your trip is in the relatively near future, and the fact that you are staying onsite should enable you to make arrangements.

Unless your tickets aren't properly linked, I'm not sure what the issue would be. I'd try some of the basics (logging out and then it, using a couple different routes to get to the FP+ selection, etc...). If that doesn't work, you may need to call.
 
I was able to make fastpass+ selections with my AP linked voucher 60 days prior to my upcoming trip (Nov 30th). I believe I had to be given a code from cust serv to enter into the system that would recognize my AP and allow me to make the selections. Once they gave me the code, I didn't have any further issues and scheduled them all for two of us.
 
Somehow, I was able to link our annual passes to MDE without problem several months ago, I think after our June trip. I was able to make FP+ selections at 60 days and order the magic bands. The only problem is that only some of the FP+ selections aren't showing up on the itinerary page. The ones for Epcot and Hollywood studios didn't show up. So, I was able to print copies of the FP+ that I made in case they decide to cancel ours. We are staying at BWV this trip, and are planning to go to Epcot our first day. Will still go to Epcot whether they cancel our FP+ or not, because we have a dinner reservation. We'll wait and see what happens.

I didn't get the invitation to do FP+ until a week or so after the 60 day mark. I have used the MDE ever since it was first available, all of our KTTW from previous trips were on it automatically.
