Trouble seeing AP discount online

I am hoping someone here has been able to fix this problem. I purchased my DD a DVC premium annual pass, and we had trouble linking it to my Disney experience app. Guest relations was able to fix the problem, and when I got home I was trying to look up AP room discounts. However when I get to the screen that shows there is a room discount, when I click on it, the screen then goes to a screen that says I need to purchase an AP. I have called technical support, and they said because my DD is the pass holder and not me I can't see discounts online? However in the past I have always been able to do this.

Does your DD have her own MDE account?
This may be the issue
If not, try clearing all Disney related cookies on your browser and signing back in

Agree. If your daughter has her own account, you have to login using her credentials in order to see AP discounts.

She doesn't have her own account, because she is 13. I asked them if I should create her own and they said because of age she could not.

I don't believe your daughter can get the discount.. Disney rules stipulate that the reservation must be in the same name as the annual passholder. Since a 13 year old cannot book a room, this may be a problem.

I called the AP telephone #, and they said I could get any discounts as long as she's in the room. You only need 1 AP holder per room. I can call and make the reservation, I just prefer looking at the discounts online. I was really just wondering if anyone else ran across this problem signing in and what the fix was.

I'd give clearing cookies a shot. I have had that exact problem even with me being the AP holder. If that doesn't work then the issue is the AP holder being your DD and you will have to call to book.

That's what I am thinking I will have to do ☹️
