Trouble Purchasing Genie +

Hi - we have a package purchased through Disney (resort and park tix). We arrive Nov 19th. I’m unable to figure out how to buy Genie + for our stay (each day for each guest). When I click on the link to purchase it takes me to park ticket purchase - any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks

We called Friday morning about 7:20 am EST to add it. We’re given a hold wait time of 59 minutes but the rep came on the line only 10 minutes later and added it for us.

I have not seen anyone post they were able to do any other way than call when you already have a package.

If you would like to modify an existing package with a purchase of Disney Genie+ service, you can do so through this website or by calling (407) 939-5277 if you booked directly through Disney.

I was able to add mine to my package my logging in and going to my reservation and clicking change reservation and then editing my ticket type and checking out that way. I didn't have to call.

Is there a way to add it one day at a time? I did what you said and it only gave me the option to add to all 5 days.

If you don't want to add for your whole trip then you just buy it each day- the day of- anytime after midnight.

If you add in advance, it must be added to all ticket days. To add to only some days you must do it each day, anytime after midnight that day.

Don’t be alarmed if it does not show up correctly on the website or app. Ours said something about a copy ticket and not as 8 day park hopper tickets with Genie+ so called back and were told it could take up to 48 hours and sure enough it was fine in a few days. Do not know if it was weird like that because it was when it initially rolled out.

Personally, I would buy day by day.
We found it useful at HS and MK. AK was a wash, if its crowded, it can help, but often not needed. EPCOT, just not needed.

I just got back from a trip last week and was also having issues purchasing it day by day on MDE while there. The funny part is they have a large banner on the MDE "home page" where you are supposed to click to purchase and it led to a button that didn't work. It was also directing me to purchase additional tickets as well. Finally I figured out that if you go to the Tip Board and click on any ride that lists Lightning Lane it leads you to the option to purchase it for that day.
