Trouble logging into DVC online

I haven't logged in online for some time...maybe two months or so. I tried today with no luck. Get a message that my password does not work. I have not changed my password recently and reentered it two or three times but nothing. So I tried getting them to send me my password, and that has not worked either. Never received an e-mail either.

Anyone else having trouble at all? Am I going crazy? I did log into the regular Disney site using my same password and got in. Both passwords were the same and that site worked.

Some DISers have reported problems with their passwords on the member website after the have logged into another Disney website. Perhaps since you were last logged in you went to another Disney site. I'd clear out your cache, cookies and history. Restart your machine and then try to logon again.

Thanks for the tip. I will try it when I get home.

I have kept my password the same for all my disney sites however. Keeps things simpler, however maybe less secure.

I couldn't log on or even access the site -- but as the op said - I was just browing disney shopping online so maybe that's why

Did you clear the cache and cookies too and then restart your machine? If you did all of that you need to call MS and tell them about the problem.

I had the same problem a few weeks ago. After several e-mails to customer service and a couple of phone calls, I had to pick a new username. Now, I had been using the same user name, password for years and they kept acting like I must be wrong. Whatever, I finally decided I wasn't going to convince them and just did whatever they told me.
Funny thing was, in picking a new user name...I, of course, tried to pick the one I had been using, only to be told it was already being used! Arrrghh!
I was finally able to log-on, with a completely new username...same password.

I just went to the website and logged in. After purchased our DVC points when I first tried to logon I couldn't use the user name I wanted. When I called MS they made me choose a different name. So now I have one user name for other Disney sites and a different one for the DVC.

We were able to park for free using our TIW and they were asking about whether we were DVC members as late as Saturday.

I finally made the call to MS. They had me try every user name I had ever registered for with any Disney site (including DisneyWorld.com, Disneyshopping and DisneyFamily) with all corresponding passwords. I didn't remember using any of these user names in the recent past and had been accessing all the sites within the last two or so years with my e-mail address and same password as used for dvc.com. Then all of a sudden it doesn't work at dvc but still does at the other sites???? The person could not tell me what might have happened, so she made me re-register with a new user name and password, new activation code etc.

Oh well. At least I can get in to pay my dues online now and check news.

Ok I figured my problem out....I was still logged on to disneystore.com . I had shopped there on cyber Monday and even tho I had closed site I was still logged in...I logged out and now the dvc log in page came up...thank you all for the help...

Nevermind. Seems to be an issue logging in on Safari again. Firefox worked. Hate when it does that. ESPECIALLY when making ADRs.
