Trouble checking ressies?

Is anyone else having trouble checking their ressies on the DCL site? It keeps coming back saying it doesn't recognize the ressie number. I called DCL and they said that my ressie was valid, but had no idea why the DCL site would say otherwise. I know it was working yesterday. Can someone else try to see if they can get their ressies to show up?

Thanks,
Gary

I just checked my ressie and it worked fine. I have had several times when it wouldn't work, and then I try a few minutes later and it works fine. I've seen some messages that say the system is down, try again later and I've had other messages that say the system is down for maintenance (usually late at night).

Good luck!

Yep. I'm not sure why I check the DCL site anyway, but I feel compelled to do so. Today I got an error message:
Oops! We cannot locate a reservation with the confirmation number you have entered.

Not very reassuring. I asked my DU consultant about it before I saw your post. Since it's not just me - there's probably no real problem.

I always have to hit the "next step" button twice. The first time the website tells me that it cannot find my reservation. The second time it finds it. Go figure.

UPDATE: I tried checking our reservations today and apparently neither one shows up. I guess that Mickey must be extra busy today.

Can I check my reservation at Disney on line site if I went throught DreamUnlimited to book my cruise?

I've always had to click "NEXT" twice before too to get my information to show up, but nothing today.

My DU consultant, Michelle, says that technically I probably never should have been able to see my reservation information, since it was booked through them (a Travel Agent). She guesses that maybe Disney just now caught/fixed this glitch.

I think thats where the problem may lie. I was able to check my ressie, UNTIL I gave it to the TA, now it can't find it. Someone else traveling with us had the same problem, once we gave the ressie to TA we couldn't pull it up on Disney site anymore.

You can check your reservation online even if it was made with a TA or even if you've transferred it to one.

I have one reservation that I made by calling DCL directly over the weekend and then I had it transferred to my TA a few days later. I have another reservation that was made directly through the TA . Both reservations show up.

You have to use the DCL reservation number (not a TA number) and you also need the phone number that was given when it was made.

For the past few weeks I have received the error message, but when I submit it the second time, it goes through just fine and displays on the screen.

Updated info at 4:15pm est-

I just tried to view my reservations and it didn't work this time.

This is the first time that I have seen the Website with the new option added, it now has one section for 'First Time Guests' and one section for 'Castaway Club Guests', so that means it was updated very recently.

Anyway, it doesn't work at all for me today.

We need someone that has booked online with DCL and someone that has booked by phone with DCL to see if they can check their reservations online. If they can, then it means the code on the online system was changed to block people that have used a TA from checking their reservations. Or worse yet, if only those that booked online with DCL and remained with them can check, it's very restrictive and an extreme measure, in my humble opinion.

The DCL site is locking up my PC today! I've tried twice to get into the reservations area and twice I've had to shut down! Major maintenance going on, I think!

Like everyone else, I am having trouble accessing my reservation. I called DCL and was told that because I booked via Dreams I would not be able to view my reservation. I think that really stinks.

I booked on line with DCL and had trouble all day on Sunday. Could see my reservation when in the morning, tried later in the day to show something to DH and it said I did not have a valid reservation number. About 3 hours later it showed up again just fine - go figure!!

It is true that if you booked through a travel agent, the TA has access to your reservation confirmation online and the guest should not have direct access to the reservation. There are absolutely no problems accessing client confirmations through the DCL TA site at the moment.

For those that book directly with DCL, either online or by calling it in, you should still be able to view your reservation online with the Disney site. You do need to be sure and use the phone number that you used when booking the reservation to have access.

Adding the separate Castaway Club log-in may have caused some glitches but I'm sure they will be fixed soon. :)

I made my reservation directly through DCL and I can view my reservation if I enter the information in the First Time Guest area. It does not find it if I use the Castaway Club guest area even though I've been a CC member since 1999.

Thanks Michelle for confirming that. After I switched ressie to TA
I wasn't able to access ressie anymore on my own.

I wasn't too worried about it since I had TA confirmation of deposit.

I couldn't access my ressie either, but I figured it was because I made my reservation through DVC. I used the reservation number they (DVC) sent me and it doesn't show up as a valid #.
