Tropicana or Park vue?

Which hotel is the best the tropicana or park vue?

I haven't stayed at either, but I have read some reviews...everything I have read says to stay away from Park Vue hotel....the Tropicana gets ok reviews!

I also haven't stayed at either hotel, but I also discovered that the Park Vue doesn't tend to get very good reviews.

No to the Park Vue.
The Tropicana did just go through extensive remodeling.

Tropicanna is your basic hotel. It was clean and very convienet to the walkway to the Disneyland Resort.

The only experience I had with Park Vue is the very very poor costumer service I got when I tried to modify a reservation I had with them. I ended up cancelling that reservation I will never go back.

I have stayed at both though not at the Tropicana since 1994.
I stayed many times at the Tropicana and have always found it fine. The complete remodel looks nice and the rooms appear (in photos) to be nice enough but the reviews have not changed much since the remodel finished. It is a fine enough place to stay, particularly if you get a good price.
The Park Vue also just finished and exterior remodel and some sligh interior remodeling. It looks much better. We stayed there before the remodel. The room we had was nice size and comfortable but with thin walls and windows you could hear lots of noise. It is an old motel and less kept up than the Tropicana. Perhapds the remodel addressed some of the issues but I suspect not. The reviews have generally not been great. We thought it was okay but I would not go back considering all the other choices on Harbopr Blvd.

Try the Carousel Inn & Suites, which is right next door to the Tropicana. Stayed in June on the weekend, $69 per night. Nice spacious rooms, breakfast in the morning, very clean, good staff. You could see the fireworks from the breakfast room on the 5th floor.
