We've narrowed it down to these two. No others will be considered. Anyone have opinions on which to pick? Why?
Thanks in adnvance!

We always try the Tropicana first, not sure why but that's our first choice. If it's not available we go with BWPPI. Of course this is after we've made sure the Ent Rate is not available at the HoJo. :)

I have stayed in both - I liked the tropicana better - I liked the parking area (that it DIDN'T feel like an enclosed alley) and I thought the pool was nice and the rooms were clean and comfortable - I did NOT like the pool at BWPPI and the room was too cramped (IMHO) so there you go from my perspective! Enjoy!!

We have stayed in the BWPPI the last two times that we've gone to Disneyland and we really liked it a lot. The pool area is nothing fancy but that was no big deal because everytime we would go to the pool nobody was ever there. Our room was in the way I think 375. The very last room. The ceilings were vaulted with a queen size bed, mircowave, small frig, (I put lots of lean cusines in it) A couch in a little sitting area, coffee maker and a hug closet and lots of space in the drawers for clothes (which I had lots of!!!) The room was plenty big for us. I think it would be good for a family because the couch pulls out into a bed (that's my opinion) As far as the parking is concerned
I think all the hotels are going to have issues with parking because Disneyland is always busy and a lot of people rent cars now so that means more cars and big SUV's in the parking lots. We also had a room in the back so that means less people because everyone wants a room towards the front. Overall it was a great hotel and I would stay there again.

Tropicana, larger pool and hot tub. The Tropicana has their breakfast at the hotel (BWPPI has theirs next door). Since they are next to eachother both have excellent location.

Ive never stayed at the BWPPI but I have stayed at the Tropicana and LOVE IT there. The pool is nice, the rooms are spacious and clean, the staff is very friendly and super helpful. There is a free continental breakfast that isnt so bad and there is also a convenience store (That sells everything from munchies, to flip flops) attached to the Tropicana which is brilliant when you need those few extra items. Also the walls are not thin like other hotels, and we slept soundly the whole trip.

We stayed at the Tropicana a year ago and our room was NOT spacious. It was clean and close. The pool is nice. It is a motel and if you do not have high expectations I don't think you will be disappointed.

We are loyal Tropicana patrons. Foe the price and proximity, you can't beat it.

Our room wasn't as nice as what they show on the internet...the Tropicana. It still rates a good review. We'll be staying a BWPPI next week. I've stayed there several times and again, no complaints. In all honesty, about the same I think.

What about the noise within the rooms? Do you easily hear your neighbors? We nixed the ParkVue as a choice because I heard that over and over. Any comments?

We were on the first floor at the Tropicana and heard cars, the cleaning staff, the people above and when people walked outside our room. The first floor was not quiet so I would recommend an upper floor if you are concerned about this.
We are going to try BWPPI in December.

We have stayed on the second floor and thirs floor in the building to the right as you drive in, we have stayed on the second floor in the building on the left. We were about halfway in so no road noise but we did hear people walking past our room and people at the pool. It wasn't horrible but we could hear it.

If you decide on the BWPPI (and can handle stairs), ask to stay on the 3rd floor, north side of the building. The 3rd floor is the top floor so nobody is in a room on top of you, and the north side of the building is the side opposite that of the restaurant. That way you don’t hear early morning delivery trucks, etc. We have never had a problem with noisy people next to us there, but you do hear people walk past on the corridor.

I can confirm that ground floor next to parking lot is very noisy. We heard car alarms beeping off and on all night long. Maybe someone just had a very annoying, very sensitive one or something, but it was horrible. General noise was bad enough that we will not be staying at any of the exterior corridor motels ever again. Back to HoJo for us!

Neither of the two is worth significantly more than the other. Go with the less expensive one. If they're both about the same price, I'd go with the Tropicana.

We are leaning towards the Tropicana unless we hear something to drastically change our minds. Thanks for all of the input!!

Either one is a good choice. When you walk back to the hotel at the end of the day and realize how short of a walk you have and how much money you saved, you will be glad you made the decision you did.
