Tropicana Inn

Anybody have any advice on this hotel? I have read mixed reviews on it.

I haven't stayed there yet, so I don't know from first hand so I can't help there. I too have heard mixed thing about this hotel, but you have to go by what you and your family are accustomed to. That is the problem, if you get someone who is used to 4* accomidations telling you that it "sucked" but you can get a 1* person telling you it is a great hotel.

I have never stayed there but I do know that they have doing extensive rennovations to the hotel right now and it has caused a problem with parking.

I have stayed at the Tropicana and it is an OK hotel. I have actually stayed there about 10 times over the years. I really like the location. You are hardly in your room. It could use some updated but I would recommend it.

Thanks for the information. When I called and asked about the construction, they told me that only the front of the hotel would be under construction during our stay. So hopefully it will be okay. They gave me an unbeatable rate that I could not pass up!

Do you mind me asking what rate you got and for what dates? I am always on the lookout for a good deal.
