Tropical Storm Chantal

I'm a little concerned about Chantal coming into the area. We will not be arriving at Universal until July 17. Has anyone been at Universal during or right after a tropical storm? Staying at HRH for a week.

You should be fine by that time. Worst case is the first few days might have rain. Other than that don't sweat it. It's a vacation and embrace whatever your are given. If you let it worry you you will not enjoy yourself.

Thanks for your replies! I expect rain but just wondered if there was something I could do to prepare .... Like bring extra shoes. We will have a good time no matter what!

TS Chantal died at 5pm yesterday. Bring extra shoes and beware the remains for they are wet and may spawn thunderstorms...I think I've been in FL too long.
