several monthes back there were reports of pirate night in place of tropical night on the 7 night cruises. what is it now~still pirate or back to tropical? thanks. :teleport: :earboy2:

It is definitely pirate night now. They have added fireworks to the show & it is alot of fun. We enjoyed Tropical night but this was ok too. You could tell that a couple of the CMs are still adjusting to it though.

We cruised in October and Said wow this is an Awesome Deck Party ... the only thing that would make it Better is if they shot off fireworks again ..as we had cruised when they had fireworks before ... the pirate night is Awesome...

Enjoy...

During Thanksgiving of this year on the Magic it was Pirate night. It was really neat! We were greeting by our Pirate server crew and a souvenir menu and pirate "doo rag". The meal was more of the Caribbean theme...actually can't say if the menu was differnet than past Tropical nights since I've never experienced that. I still have ours and could look it up if you are really interested. The deck party was fantastic! We were still docked in Cozumel and the ships on either side of us had people standing on their decks looking over...should have sailed with Disney folks! It was a great party for the whole family!

On the Eastern, where is the ship on Pirate night? I thought it would be in St. Thomas, and we leave St. Thomas very early (5:00 p.m. or thereabouts). So, do the fireworks go off while at sea?

Or is Pirate night some other night?

Thanks.

Definately still pirate night and what a great night it is. Starts in the dining room and continues into the deck party. The fireworks are fantastic!

Sorry can't help with the port info as we had it leaving St. Lucia!

if it replacing tropical night, when we cruised on may 03 it was the night we set sail from saint maarten. okay. let's take this a bit farther. we are cruising in october 05~just giving it a good guess~still pirate night? this is a fun thing; i know it can be changed at any moment! LOL!! :teleport: :earboy2:

Pirate Night was the night we left St Maarten. Keep in mind everyone has to get up early the next morning for customs clearance at St. Thomas - which is no fun.

I believe both ships host the Pirates in the Caribbean Deck party and themed rotational dinner now.

Am I the only one that prefered the Mexicali and Tropicali deck party and dinner?
