Tropical Depression 27!!!

It's WAAAAY south in the Caribbean but they do expect it to turn into Tropical Storm Gamma sometime today.

What an unbelievable hurricane season this has been!

Well, I guess I was wrong, my kids asked if hurricane season was over and I said yes. Hopefully it dies out and goes away, rapidly!!!

lol. Can you guys believe it. This season will never end. Long term there is a possible US threat. Its possible it will move west and then a quick recurve to the north and NE. Now more then likely it would go over Cuba,Bahamas and out to see. But mostly that depends on where it recurves. Risk areas in USA this far out are from Tampa southward. Dont see it getting any farther north then that. Its early to predict but some threat does exsist to USA. I will start posting my forecasts again when it becomes Gamma if you all would like.

P.S Some reliable models bring it to a CAT 3 hurricane in 72 hours then a slight weakening trend after that.

I'm in Puerto Rico now. Thank goodness we are leaving today, although it looks like it is going to miss here. My friend is on his honeymoon cruise right now, hopefully he will stay east of it.
