I know you typically wait about 45 minutes during the day with a TRON VQ after tapping in. Is it the same for deluxe EEH? I’d hate to waste 45 minutes of a 2 hour perk waiting in line. I was hoping it would be more reasonable during EEH.

We did this on January 3rd for our two sons and they were in and out of the ride in a half hour with their boarding group being called around 11 PM. The parks were very busy that day and I had zero issues getting the VQ as well.

So do you think this means on days of extended Park hours don’t bother purchasing individual lightning lanes? Just go for the virtual queue?

That all depends on your comfort with getting the VQ because that can be tricky sometimes and it certainly is not guaranteed. For us it was either do the VQ or they weren't riding it (we rode it before so it wasn't going to be a big loss) because I wasn't paying for it that day. I know it was over $20, maybe $21 I think which is crazy for a one minute ride that pales in comparison to Guardians which is much cheaper. That being said, if you pay for it the line is shorter and you will likely get on it earlier at a time of your choosing. Our group was called at 11 and that was when the park closed for other guests that night and then it seems they started with the late VQ riders. I think most, if not all, of the paid LL riders were already through along with most of the earlier VQ riders given what I could determine from the earlier group numbers being called.
