Tron previews for DVC?

Looks like non resort reservations can book DVC, I got in and no resort reservation. Afternoon times. Says up to 5 including member or up to number on hotel reservation. I reserved and have a confirmation.

So I got Sunday night approved. Only had my name on it. How do I add more to my group? I don’t have a hotel or park reservation does that matter

You were supposed to add the total number of guests when you selected your time slot. It didn't need names, just the size of your party.

You're literally the first person I've seen with an afternoon DVC reservation. They may have decided that resort guests would be using early entry and that the morning would be better for them. Who knows. Regardless, we're all getting reservations!

Because DVC and AP preview dates are on the same dates, the times do NOT overlap between the two. AP only had times on 3/5 in the morning for example and DVC times were in the afternoon and evening.

How many times can u ride it in your hour slot? Cast previews seemed to do 2-3 rides each

Is registration capped at 5 guests, or is it based on villa size? I ask because we are confirmed in a grand villa and I was limited to 5 guests.

You're literally the first person I've seen with an afternoon DVC reservation. They may have decided that resort guests would be using early entry and that the morning would be better for them. Who knows. Regardless, we're all getting reservations!

I got Sunday at 7 pm. I don’t have a stay booked on points. Does that matter?

I was briefly able to select 5 people for 6-7PM Sunday PM (no stay booked) but then I got an error message now every time I go to the site it tells me no member name selected…maybe they fixed the glitch that was letting non stay guests book?

Wish you could modify. Hurried up and grabbed something and then saw others getting better times pop up

I just called. They said u have to have a points stay booked. She said it will cancel mine out. Ugh.

you can. go to "cancel registration" and choose CHANGE MEMBER in the dropdown box. It will show you all available times still available.

I don’t believe it since the system in the past recognized if you had a resort stay or not.

The only way to make me regret paying full price for DVC more than not allowing me into previews unless I happen to be at the resort for 3 days, is letting me spent 30m booking, believing I’m able to go as I book the slots, and then having it jerked away after I book flights and resort stay.

It looks like they fixed the glitch before I was able to get steps 2 and 3, but still very disappointed.

It wasn't a glitch. It specifically said all guests registered on the room reservation OR 5 people includinthe DVC member.

Same, I have 8 names on our 2BR villa reservation at Boardwalk. Only let me register for 5. Luckily my son is also DVC, so we were able to register under his for the others. Weird.

No the glitch was that it *was* briefly possible to book without a reservation, not that it didn’t let me. Originally I got through to the next stage and others made it all the way through to booking.
