Tron Early Entry

Now that hotel guests can proceed directly to their preferred ride before early entry opens at 8:30, how early should we plan to line up for Tron to have a short wait at 9? I am assuming that people can now arrive to line up at Tron before 8:30 since they do not hold you at a rope anymore?

To be towards the front of the ETPE crowd, it’s recommended you arrive at your resort’s transportation 90 mins before ETPE begins. This would be the same recommendation for guests wanting to be towards the front of the line for Tron.

Any word if the other three parks have instituted something similar?

DHS does something similar and I believe Epcot does to an extent too. Not sure about AK.

We did that in October. The line for Tron builds quickly so you need to be toward the front of the line. We were about a third of the way back and had a 30 minute wait when it opened.

I can confirm Epcot does as well. Or at least they were in December when I last visited there
