Okay, I have to admit, I love to buy strollers. My daughter is turning 3 in April and right now we have a Combi, but it is a little big so I was thinking of buying a Maclaren. We basically just use it at the mall and on vacation. For those of you who have them, let me know what you think is best. I will be getting the Triumph or Quest. Thanks for the help. By the way, my husband thinks I'm crazy!!!!! :rotfl:

I have the Quest Mod and ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT!!!!! I know the Triumph is a little cheaper, though. But you could get them on ebay for a great price!!!!!

I paid $179 for it from Amazon. Here it is on ebay, MUCH cheaper. (I got it in Pink for my little girl)

Here are some regular Quests on ebay:

And last but not least, here are the triumphs:

Good luck with your decision!!!!!!!

How is the height on either model? On some lightweight strollers the handles are so low I feel like I'm slumping over the whole time?

The handles are much higher than the other strollers I have had! I absolutely LOVE it!!!!!! I can't say enough good things about Maclarens.

Hi
I bought the Triumph on a whim for our trip to WDW in January and we all fell in LOVE with this. We have long used a kind of unremarkable but basically fine umbrella stroller and experienced the "Umbroller Slump" with the short handles and our feet always kicking the wheels etc.

With the Triumph, the handles are at a much better height for adults :cool1: and I can even steer it with one handed.

I don't know what would make the Quest superior - I found the Triumph to be a true triumph and didn't find myself longing for anything different our whole trip. It carries up to 50 pounds or something and our 7 year old would sometimes ride out of the park in this at the end of the day, and both my 2 year old and 7 year old found it to be quite agreeable....as did we all.

I thought it was a wonderful WDW stroller and it's already been on another airport trip since then. It's actually the perfect size to transport our car seat from one plane to another.

Have fun stroller shopping. :teeth:

Quest!! We have the Quest and love it...although to be honest, I think the big differences are in the padding/cover and in the number of recline positions. I seem to recall that the Triumph only had up or recline positions while our Quest has a few more degrees of reclining. With a three year old, that may not matter as much as it would with a younger child.

If your looking for inexpensive, light, and easy-drying...I have heard good things about the Volo, too! Same quality...just a much more scaled-down model (and I think it's only about a hundred bucks).

We just got the triumph and it's a great stroller. It has 3 recline positions, the handles are high. The seat must be comfortably since my DD, who hates strollers, stayed in it all the time. The strorage basket is a little small but big enough for a diaper bag. The only thing I don't like about the Maclaren is that there is no cup holders but it's a very small incovenience.

She's almost 2 and since we already have a problem keeping her in a stroller, so I didn't want to spend more for the Quest.

Definately, try ebay. That's where I bought mine. It was a 2005 but new in the box and cheaper than anywhere else I saw it.

When researching for a new Disney stroller for my older child, I decided on the Quest over the Triumph and the Volo.

The reason, several people said the Quest was a tad better for taller, older children because they somehow fit better. I went to Babies R Us and tried the 3 of them and decided the Quest was the best of the 3.

I bought it at www.albeebaby.com for a great price last year (and free shipping). I think it's gone up a little but still a great price.

I just recently bought a Quest based on all the rave reviews I saw on the boards. I test drove it today at the mall and I love it! It is so much better than my other stroller (easy to push and fold) and my DS 2.5 seemed to enjoy his new ride.

I found mine online at Babies R Us. My specific choice (regatta print) was on sale and I also received $20 off.

I vote quest as well. Quest has better padding, extendable leg rests, easier recline. The steering shouldn't be different, but it always feels like the Quest handles better.

Really, you're not going to go wrong with a Mac.

We have two Quests and love them. We've had so many strollers over the years and I really wish I had bought the Macs first. We took DS5 to BRU to try the Triumph & the Quest and it was based on his preference that we chose the Quest. He said he just felt more comfortable.

Just giving my 2 cents. We have a Truimph and the Twin Traveler. I went with Triumph just b/c I really like Maclaren but didn't need all the features of the Quest. The handles for the Truimph are shorter than the TT, but still long enough where I don't feel like I am reaching down(DH is 6'1 and I am 5'10")

I bought the Quest last year for my daughter's first trip to WDW and can't imagine life without it! It's a God send if you fly and take a stroller on the Disney busses because it only takes a second to fold! They also come with a rain cover which is nice because of all of the frequent storms in Orlando. I got mine off of ebay, too, and had a great experience. :)

We bought the quest before our trip last year. We actually bought it for our then 7 yr old who suffers from extremely flat feet. We are very happy with it. It fits both my now 8 yr old (he only weighs 47 lbs) and for our 3 yr old. They will fight over who gets to use it. It also pushs very easily with either child in it. Good luck with your decision.
