Hello, I am still confused with what is going on at CRO.

I was able to book a reservation for Easter Sunday two days ago which was 185 days before my trip. Why???????????

I am confused..... Central Reservations said that resort guests can book 190 days before they check in for dining experiences is that true. IF so why the change? I am checking into the Boardwalk Villas on 4/12 and was able to book a resi before 180 days as stated before it was around 185 days until my check in.

I am an ex travel agent who is now a stay at home mother and is in unusual territory not understanding disney policy.

Why and is this the new norm? I got one explaination on a previous post but am still unsure. Tammy

I'm totally confused by this, because you're allowed to start booking normally at 180 day before your check in day, and then up to 10 additional days of your trip.

I don't understand how you got a reservation before the 180 day mark. And I thought the reservations system was not even booking that far out until November.

You might want to doublecheck that reservation at the 180 day mark. Reservations that are made too far in advance automatically cancel overnight.

If you made anything before 180 days before check in, it was an error on the CM's part. Reservations are to be made 180 days before check in. On that date you can make reservations for up to 10 days of your vacation.

I would call at your 180 day mark and check on your Chef Mickey's reservation. (the only reservations at 180 days right now are for Chef Mickey, Cinderella's Royal Table, or Victoria and Albert's). If it's still in there it is Pixie Dust, if it's not then you can reserve again at that time.

Don't feel confused. Disney's policy hasn't changed - a CM made a mistake. Usually if you call before your 180 day mark the CM catches this and advises you which day to call back to make your reservation.
