Hi everyone,

As I read through the boards, I've noticed a TON of Dis'ers who will be at WDW just after Thanksgiving through the first week of December. I've read that this is typically a good time to visit as the crowds tend to be lower than the end of the month. I guess that's why they'll be such a big contingent of Dis'ers down there!!!!

Anywho, thought it might be fun to start a thread so we could talk about our trips, ADRs, travel tips, etc.

Right now, we've got our airfare, lodging, rental car, ADRs and we are just waiting patiently!!!

I'm trying to decide if I want to move our pirates and pals cruise to another night. I have it booked for 11/30 but would prefer to do it on 12/2 or 12/4 instead just to space out the special treats a little more. I have BBB, Pirates League and the Harmony Barber Shop appointments for our first full MK day (11/29) - one for each of my three kiddos. But, I'm really nervous about the crowds that day. I figured if we had appointments we could get all that out of the way and then enjoy the rides when we go back to MK on Monday.

Anyone going to MVMCP? Thinking I might do that on 12/3...the cost is so high for five though....really thinking on that one.

Well, that's pretty much it from me...just looking to share my excitement with others traveling around the same time.

Happy planning everyone!!!!! 170 days to go...

We'll be there Nov 29-Dec 7 and then off for a week on the Fantasy.

So far we have reservations (AKL and Poly), ADRs, rental car, airline tickets all booked, cruise paid for. Just trying to figure out our trips for each port for the cruise.

We will be there Nov. 23- Dec. 1. We have room booked and ADR's made, only thing we are still needing is Pirates and Pals. When we called the first CM we talked to had no idea what it was, the second CM was helpful but couldn't find an opening for the night of the 30th. Hope a spot opens up. Other than that we got all the ADR's we wanted, even CRT twice.

DH-Clint 38
DW- RuthAnne 36
DS- Tyler 16
DD- Ella 3

We will be there 11/26-12/2. In the same boat- Air fair, room, and ADRs all booked. We have Pirate and Pals on 12/1. Pirate League on 11/27 and 12/1.

Now its just the waiting until we get there!

We will be there Dec 1 - 9 :cool1: Can't wait. I have only made 3 ADRs. I'll probably add a few more. We have our air and hotel booked.

We will be camping at the fort nov 24-dec 7. We have ADRs for BBB, Pirates League, CRT, Chef Mickey, Thanksgiving dinner at Trails End and Akershus. We are also doing MVMCP on the 4, I think. Haha.

We will be there for DS's 1st trip to the world. He has been on 2 Disney cruises, so we figured he should get to see where Mickey lives when he is on land (and the fact that we can go 2 weeks before he turns 3 doesn't hurt either). We are staying Nov 30 - Dec 7.

Our park plans are very open as we really don't want to overwhelm DS. We do have ADRs for Ohana, Garden Grill & Tusker House. Honestly I am not confident that we will keep all of these as DS isn't much for sitting in restaurants these days, but I know that now is the time to make them if I want to have any hope of going.

We are renting a townhouse at Windsor Hills through www.vacationcentralflorida.com and I am really looking forward to having easy access to cooking and laundry as this should actually make our vacation easier.

We leave 11/29 on the Autotrain and arrive at the World on 11/30, staying til 12/6. I wanted to fly and have more time at Disney but was completely outvoted by the kids. They wanted the train experience so autotrain it is!!!

We are staying at WL and I got one of those "snail mail" free dining so as of right now that is where we stand. We are trying to take a little more of a laid back approach this time so here is our tentative schedule...

11/30 - Lunch at Rainforest then hit AK. I know it will be crazy busy but hoping people leave after the parade and we can get in some rides.

12/1 -- Hubby is doing the exotic car driving at the speedway, then resting til 4:00 ressie at CP then MVMCP. Again, hoping people are headed home and this party won't be crazy busy.

12/2 -- Sleep in then head to LegoLand. Dinner at Cape May

12/3 -- Rest Day might do DisneyQuest or if we get a beautiful day might hit the pools or waterpark. Dinner at Fultons

12/4 -- HS with lunch at Sci Fi

12/5 -- Epcot with lunch at Coral Reef. This is probably our only RD, full day in the parks since last trip we didnt' do much in Epcot. Kids want to do the passports and such so might look for a dinner ressie as well.

12/6 -- Nothing planned so will see what we decide then head back to train around 1:00.

We just booked our trip last night and going 12/4-12/10 - I'm sooo excited!!! We booked hotel and airfare and haven't started on ADR yet. I have also read that the first week of Dec is a good time to go. :-). Happy planning!!!

We will be there 11/30-12/12! Actually, I have a conference the first few days so DM and I are headed to BC 11/30-12/4. DH and the kids will then join and we will stay at BC for 2 more days before moving to a 1-bedroom at OKW! We have plane tickets (got a $68 pp credit yesterday through the SW sale), ADRs, and tickets for mom and I. Haven't purchased the kids/DH tickets yet. We will be doing BBB/CRT, DQ, Family Magic Tour (just DS and DM), PL, and MVMCP on 12/10! Just waiting on Cali Grill and Candlelight Processional ADRs to open and hoping for the Dessert Party on the night of our MVMCP! Can't wait!

We are going 11/30 - 12/10!!! So excited! We have our room booked, flight booked, ADRs made and MVMCP tickets. Staying at POR for the second time. We are a family of 4; me, DH and our two boys (4 yo and baby will be almost 9 months on this trip).

We will be there 11/30-12/7! Staying at CR, ADRs and BBB booked, MVMCP tickets purchased. Still need to book My Disney Girl's Perfectly Princess Tea Party. It wasn't open for reservations when I called. Getting so excited! Starting to plan all of the outfits I will make for my DD to wear.

How-dee y'all!

Been a while since I've checked in and wanted to get an update on my fellow first week in December Dis'ers.

We are currently on the fence about moving resorts. My mom is going to come for part of our trip and we are considering moving to POR. We have an AOA LM room and we are thinking about doing either POR or a family suite. We have family down there so if we choose to stay with the LM room, she'll just stay with one of my cousins for a short bit. Hmmmmmm, decisions decisions. We really wanted to try the LM rooms. We also booked a room at an off-site just as a back-up. Gave myself an internal deadline of 10/1 to make a final decision.

Got my daughter's Sofia's dress for BBB, got a cool Pirate top for my son when he does PL and got an adorable Minnie onsie for the baby when she has her first haircut at Harmony Barber Shop.

Only 85 days to go!!!!

Our kids still have no idea :) :rotfl2: They will flip out on Thanksgiving morning!

I'm really jazzed to try the Hoop Dee Doo show/dinner.

Anyone doing the wagon or sleigh rides around the Fort? Who's doing the MVMCP?

Can't wait to see the lights at DHS.

Well, fill me in on all your plans.

Hope all is well and happy planning!!!!!!

We are doing both the sleigh ride (arrival night) plus MVMCP on the 10th. Also hoping to do Wishes Dessert party that night! FWIW, we loved the family suites at AoA!

I'm getting excited. Now that it is officially Sept, it seems so close. We did change our ADRs a bit. I gave up my arrival night Ohana ADR so that we can take DS to Chef Mickey's the first day. I figure after having been in a car for 2 days being told that we are going to see Mickey, my son will except to see Mickey :)

I was a bit concerned by how many people I have seen on Dis that are going these dates, but I am hopeful that it is just the overplanners here that are flocking in for the supposed to be slow dates and not the rest of the world.

Hey there! Just found this thread and thought I'd say hi! :)

We are going Nov 30 - Dec 6, split stay. Spending our first night at BLT and the rest of them at AKV. On this trip it's me, DH and DD3. Now that summer is pretty much over, I just want to wish the days away and just be in Disney already :hyper:
