Tripods and Monopods

Bumping this thread looking for some tripod advice. Best Buy (in Canada) is going to have the Manfrotto MY 7322CY (carbon fiber) tripod w/484RC2 ballhead for $200 on Boxing Day. We're currently using the Velbon Ultra Luxi F with the same ballhead. Specs-wise it looks similar to our Velbon, but a lb. lighter. Our dislikes with the Velbon are it's weight and the twist-leg locks (the Manfrotto has flip locks). Wondering if anyone has used the Manfrotto in the past and has any thoughts on it?
