Trip with the In Laws

we're going in 8 weeks with the in-laws and I am.....................
actually very excited!! Betcha thought I'd say "dear God what have I gotten myself into somebody save me!"
Nope, I love my in-laws!! And, when they are on vacation, boy they're so laid back they're horizontal. They are very much go along to get along types, and dh and I are fly by the seat of our pants vacationers as well. Last year, all I planned was one adr at Crystal Palace. The rest sort of fell into place.
This year, I've had to juggle various flights, as the inlaws are flying down with us, but driving back up to SC for the Coca-Cola 600, then flying out of Raleigh. Plus I've had to find an off site hotel which has caused me stress because I don't want to be the responsible party when we arrive to a shanty (which won't happen, but lord the nightmares!!) Plus, two different rental cars as they need one to drive back up to Raleigh, and it was actually cheaper to rent two (one for the 20-27 for us and one for the 26-30 for them).
Anyway, for the next 8 weeks I'll be the one jumping out of my skin, bouncing around like Tigger on Speed til we are all on that plane headed south.

Also, how cool to go to the Coca Cola 600. That's a night race isn't it? How fun!

I am glad you enjoy trips with your inlaws. If I go with mine I need plenty of time to get away from them to. They fight constantly. Going to the race too.
Oh if you feel the bleachers shaking and yelling when Jimmie takes the lead it me.
