Well we got back from our 3 days today. The trip was Warmer than I expected but still good. Our 4 yr old had a rough first few hours so a nap break at PP and a stroller for the rest of the time and he was a champ. We all road everything about 3 times during the trip. Road RSR only waiting 40 min the first time and we fast passed it the second time. Everyone LOVED it. Staying at PP was a blast. Regardless of what people say the distance was great. Breakfast at DTD was close. The character breakfast at PCH grill in PPH? Food was Horrendous but the characters were awesome.

Crowds were great. Most lines were only 15 minutes. Even space mtn was barely 20 when we hit it. California scream was 5 min. I think we road it 5 times.

Photo pass plus: I was nervous but 3 days and almost 200 pictures was well worth the 70.00. The wife was happy seeing the results. Now we have to edit and order them.

Food. I had a small list:

Blue bayou was great. Water side table and Monte Cristo was good. Kids even enjoyed the kids meal. The wife and I split the Cristo (huge serving) and no additional charge was added.

Tigger tail. Lots of sugar but we loved it

Chili con queso at cozy cone was fantastic. Surprised me in fact.

Flo's diner: had the turkey dip and I'd get it again. Pleasently surprised

This Dole whip float thingy? Yea I'll pass next time. Not the best.

Characters: obviously we had the breakfast but we saw so many in the park: chip, dale, goofy, aerial,Snow White, cruella deville, Minnie, mikey,Donald, daisy, flick, stitch, woody, Jesse and buzz. With the character breakfast we got a few duplicates. May have been more. I mean we saw them daily

DCA: Red, Mater, lightning and DJ

I want to thank everyone here for the tips and tricks and honestly making my trip much better than it could have been. Sorry this is a long post but this group really is great

Sounds like you knew how to make the trip GREAT!
The PP+ is so worth the $70. It's a nice feature Disney offers.

Glad to hear you had a great trip!

Oh and I'll agree with you on the Dole Whip, tried it once and not a fan.

Where did you find Buzz?

Buzz, Woody, and Jessie have a M&G in DCA on the pier. It was moved to a permanent location, with backdrop, a year or so ago. It's near the eating area on the Pier. Only one meets at a time and rotates every 20 minutes. I dressed DD in her Jessie costume and we got in line for Woody, then when that was over we got in line again for Jessie and then Buzz. So it took some time, but it worked out well and we got to meet all 3.

Glad you had a good time! The Dole Whip kind of grew on me; I didn't like or dislike it the first couple of times, but now it can sound really good to me on a hot day. Still, I rarely get one unless I'm with someone who is getting one. There are other things I like so much better :) The one that surprised me was the churro. I actively disliked those for quite a while, but now I think they're tasty. I wish it had gone the other way. I would love to suddenly wake up and find myself craving broccoli.

Never done PP+ but it sounds like a neat thing for some people. We usually get the free 5 x 7 pic that comes with having a Chase cc and the quality is much better than my phone can manage. I only recently found out about that perk in spite of it being posted regularly. I doubt I'd ever spring for PP+ though if I didn't already have years of DL pics I'd definitely consider it, but as it is I just buy a few here and there. My sister and I have a traditional Christmas trip and we always buy a picture with Santa :)
