Hi all, we are planning on travelling from Toronto area over to Niagra Falls for a couple of days at the end of July. Has anyone taken the train there? Also what kind of transportation would be the best for getting around Niagra Falls, since we won't have a vehicle? One last question how hard would it be to get over to and around the American side of the falls without a vehicle? Any suggestions?

There is bus transportation (people mover) which for a one time fee will take you all over the Falls area and you can get on/off anytime all day. Also you can walk over the Rainbow Bridge to the US side if you like.:)
Have fun!:yay:

thanks for the tips. Does anyone know if my Rogers Gmrs (I think that's what it is... ha ha) will work in the States? It's a pay as you go phone.

It will work there. You will be on either the Cingular or T-Mobile system and you will pay through the nose for any U.S. calls received or made, but you have access.

Suggest you go to Rogers.com and check the U.S. rates. You might want to get a U.S. plan if you plan on making more frequent trips stateside in the future.
