Well I didn't go to Disneyland or Disney World, but I still had a lot of fun. On Friday, I will be going to Kansas City, so I will be absent again from the boards. Well here is what I did on my trip:

Sunday (4/8)
Red Rock Canyon
Freemont Street Experience
Quick tour of "The Strip"

Monday (4/9)
Hoover Dam
Chocolate Factory tour
Luxor, Excalibur, & New York-New York hotel tours
Desperado @ Buffalo Bill's (an 80 m.p.h. roller coaster at a western hotel)
Tours of MGM Grand, and M&M & Coca Cola stores

Tuesday (4/10)
Paris and Venetian tours
Death Valley
Manhatten Express @ New York-New York (a coaster that takes you through the scenes of the Big Apple)
Treasure Island tour

I may be going to Vegas in October. Where did you stay? In taking th tours that you took to th hotels, are there any you would recommend--esp., for someone traveling with a 9 year old? Thanks for any help

I stayed at the Residence Inn located two blocks off the strip. I would reccomend the New York-New York Hotel (it has a large arcade and a roller coaster), the MGM Grand Hotel (it has a lion habitat), Circus Circus (I didn't go to it, but it has a theme park plus circus acts), Excalibur (if they like medievel things) or Treasure Island (they have a show that most kids enjoy).
