Trip to DL Sept 8. HELP WANTED.

Planning a trip to DL Sept 8 for 10 days. Really want to avoid big line ups. Is this a good time to go. Wait times??? Is there anywhere I can find out ride closures for that time? Where is the best place to purchase the whole trip from Canada. Also wondering where the best place to buy tickets to Six flags, DL Hopper, and Knotts water park. Any ideas on any of this would be much appreciated. THANKS.

Kids wil be back in school, so weekdays should be good, but weekends are always busy. Haunted Mansion will probably go down during your trip (not at the very beginning, but after the second weekend in Sept usually) for it's holiday makeover. Matterhorn may be down (it typically goes down for refurbishment each fall).

I've always gone to riderefurbs.com for closure info and they are right on top of things. No idea who owns that site, if it's not okay to post here, I apologize and take it off.

Our anniversary is Sept. 21 and the Haunted Mansion (my fav) usually goes down right around the 19th of that month. Disappointingly....

Tickets for the other things - you can buy them through the official Disneyland site - but price each one at a time - sometimes it's cheaper to go direct to those parks. They all have websites and you can get the tics there.

Six Flags - are you speaking of Magic Mountain? Be a little careful of this. I haven't been in years but have some friends who won't go there anymore because of the gang problems. The park was recently sold or is in the process, who knows what may happen after that.
