I have a question... Do any of you use anything to keep track of what you want to put in your report? I mean, like a journal or a notebook.

I know that there will be a TON of stuff I want to put in my reports when I get back, but I'm afraid I won't remember everything that I need to. So, I was just curious what everyone else did.

Thanks!

I usually take 5-10 minutes every night to write down some notes as to what happened during the day to use as reminders when I get around to writing the report.

I am a morning person so I would go every morning to the resort resturant and have breakfast, call and check on things at work and then spend 10-15 minutes writting down the previous days journey. The Passporter Book is really good about laying out the trip and keeping a journal with questions to answer to help remember the memories of the previous day

:cool1:

We take TONS of pictures that serve as a photo journal. It's pretty easy to put our trip reports together with the photos as a reminder. :flower:

I also write down notes before I go to bed at night, that and our receipts and lots of pics make it easy to write a more complete journal when I get home.

As a magazine writer and an avid scrapbooker, often WHAT I write to go along w/ the millions of pics we take is MORE important than the pics themselves. With the scrapbooking and because I also keep a journal for both my girls, I never vacation any more without a handy dandy notebook. You can find good quality but SMALL spiral notebooks at many bookstores (and those are my preference just in case I need to tear out a piece of note paper for something.) I choose notebooks that are small and can fit nicely in my hip pouch. I use that notebook for my "carry along" notes, phone numbers, etc., that I might need in the parks. With a 3 yr. old & a 6 yr. old, you never know what might come out of their mouths and after a long day in the park, we can't always remember those quoteables. So, it's nice to have the notebook along for that. Then, during rest time or just before bed each day (and often both), I take a few minutes to jot down more in-depth notes on what happened that day.

Good luck w/ the wedding and have a great honeymoon!
