Well, we arrived in WDW around 12:15 PM on Saturday November 10. This is of course after DW and I driving all night (16 hours) to get here. Don't ask why we didn't fly but they screwed up our flights really bad about two weeks ago.
Saturday afternoon we checked in to VWL and our room was not quite ready as of yet so we slipped into the Whipering Canyons for some late lunch early dinner. We had the all you care to eat Skillett which consisted of ribs, chicken, Beef Briskuet, and really good bbq sauces, Corn on the cob and breadsticks.
After having a good meal we checked on our room and sure enough it was ready. They put us in room 3561, wow is that in the sticks I felt like we walked to the Magic Kingdom. Any way we showered and cleaned up and headed to the Magic Kingdom so we could catch the fireworks and the Spectromagic parade. Spectromagic ran to times that night. We then headed back to the resort to get some sleep.
Sunday morning we got an early start, we ate again in Whispering Canyons Cafe and had the All you care to eat Bfast. That was pretty good. After a good breakfast we headed off for the Magic Kingdom. We got in all of the rides we wanted most with just a 10-15 minute wait. We rode Buzz, Space Mountain, Haunted Mansion, Big Thunder, splash mountain all before 2:00 PM. We then decided to skip the parade on Sunday and head for the MGM Studios. Most of the rides here were less than a 15 minute wait. We took in Fantasmic so I could Video Tape it since I got rained out on our trip in June. We then headed back to the WL and sat in the lounge and had a few drinks while we were watching Seatle and Oakland battle it out on Sunday night football.
Monday we started our day with breakfast in the Whipering Canyons again and we managed to get the same waitress that we had the previous two days (Mustang Sally). We then headed off to Animal Kingdom and had a pretty good time there. We got to ride Safari, Kali, Bugs Life, and Dino all before 12:00 with no more than a 10 minute wait for anything. We did do a fastpass on the safari because the line was around 45 - 60 minutes long. We then headed back to Magic Kingdom to do the Share a dream come true parade and video that. After that we headed for the hotel to get ready for dinner. Dinner was at Ohana at the Poly. This was a wondeful experience to have dinner there. We really enjoyed the meal and the fact that we scheduled our dinner right at the time of the fireworks at Magic Kingdom. After dinner we walked the area around the dock at the Poly and then took the monorail to the Contemporary to do some shopping, then we caught a launch from there back to the VWL.
I guess that the story here is really that the parks seem to have as many people in them, but they aren't riding rides. Maybe I am just imagining but there still seems to be alot of people there.
That pretty much leaves you where we are. Ready to go to bed.
I will post more as time allows. I will also attempt to get some of the pictures up on the website as well.
