Hi all,

I am going to postpone adding any pictures to this page for the time being because i found out my monitor that i have been using to edit with is pretty far off from what it should be.

I had some prints done at Adoramapix and they came back alot different from what i see on my screen. Mostly darker and the night stuff especially yellow where i thought was more white.

With that said the monitor needs to be calibrated. I am going to purchase Spyder Express 4 Pro and home that does the trick. After that i will re-process some of what i have remaining and post again. I think this should all take about a week.

Can I ask what lens you used to take some of those wider night shots like the train station and the hat. Was that the 10-20?

thanks. Yes the Sigma 10-20 was used on the wider shots. Without it I would have been standing further back and more likely would not have been able to get a shot without people. Same lens was use for the Tangled and Spaceship earth shots. It does not get much use but at disney i found it to be a fun lens.

Nick they are all great pictures as posted imo. If there's a color problem it would be interesting just to see the difference but in my book it in no way takes from the shots that you took.

Thanks. It seems my IPS monitor that i got in December is fairly far off. My laptop is pretty close to what i had printed. My whites on screen are coming out alot more yellow in print. Its a combination of a white balance issue, brightness, and a little color. I tried for about 2 hours to get the screen to match what printed and cant do it. Today i ordered Spyder 4 Pro to calibrate so i can match my 2 screens to the prints.

I think i was way more disappointed yesterday then anything else. I just want to know what i am spending all this time editing on will look the same in print when i choose to do so.

This is one of my favorite images from the trip and one of the photos i had printed.
