As with most of our other dinners, we decided to do a walk up at the last minute, we had great luck with this, we were seated within 5 minutes. It was 5:30, the park had just closed and the restaurant wasn't busy at all. We walked in and was blown away by the size of the aquarium, it was huge! We were seated in the gorilla section, with a perfect view of another aquarium. We really liked the atmosphere of the restaurant, when the animals start to move and make their noises, it was a fun thing to watch. My DH and I each ordered a surf and turf meal, it had a sirloin filet, coconut shrimp and shrimp scampi. We opted for all scampi instead of the coconut shrimp, it was really good. I know it came with potatoes but I just don't remember what kind, all of my meals there are starting to run together in my mind. The kids each had chicken nuggets, typical kids menu. We all enjoyed our meal. Our waiter was a delight, he was from Africa, and he told us a story about the monkeys, he said that he and his friends would walk home at night and the monkeys would throw rocks at them. He said that they were young and terrified of the monkeys, he thoght it was appropriate that his section was the gorillas. He was very nice and attentive and we loved hearing about wher he used to live. Our bill was $65, and that was with a very gracious tip. After the meal we walked around the store, we bought some shirts, they are much cheaper than the Disney shirts. Two for $15. We realized that it was 7:30, and we panicked about how we would get back to CSR. We walked out to the curb where there were buses waiting. The driver asked where we were going, we told him CSR. We got a private ride home. We really liked Rainforest Cafe, and will return.
