Yet another sunny morning dawned! :sunny:

We were very very lazy this morning and all had a lie-in and arrived at the park for 11am to meet Renate and Siggi. We had arranged to meet them outside City Hall and we recognised them immediately from their photos. Bryan wanted to ride Space Mountain so he used one of our fastpasses for that. The rest of us pottered round the nearby shop and Renate and Siggi showed us where to queue to collect the Lion King show tickets. Being Sunday the queue was miles long, we had decided earlier to do this either Monday or Tuesday. We all rode Star Tours together, I love this ride! Then the girls queued to meet Stitch and have their photo taken with him. We said our goodbyes to Renate and Siggi, it was lovely to meet them, we are going to meet up again on Christmas Eve.

We made our way to the Steakhouse in the Village where we had a reservation for the character brunch. Another superb buffet!!! And even better, unlimited drinks!!! :drinking1 There was a glass of champagne on arrival and unlimited wine or juice to help yourself to. Not that I overindulged of course! ;)

Yet again the character interaction was great. We were visited by Pinocchio, Mickey, Goofy and Captain Hook. Pinocchio was full of mischief. Danielle accidently marked his white glove with blue ink as she was passing him her pen, he got very indignant and drew on her arm to pay her back! This had us all in stitches! Then he wanted to wear Francesca’s tiara!

I was the only one brave enough to have my photo taken with Captain Hook, however he refused to pose unless I held his hook! :rotfl2:

I would definitely recommend this Character brunch. Unfortunately it is only on a Sunday so I will make sure we are staying over a weekend on our trip next summer!

Next it was to the Studios for the parade. It was about 20 mins before the parade started and was very hot by now so we just sat down on the parade route and waited for it to start. We all enjoyed the parade, I can’t imagine coming to a Disney park and not watching it.

Cruella pretended to spit at Francesca’s feet when she saw her wearing her Cinderella dress and tiara!

We then had our photo taken under the umbrella at les Parapluies de Cherbourg. It was very refreshing getting our feet wet!

There are lots of attractions we have not done at the Studios but we deliberately have left them until our Christmas trip so that we have some new exciting things to do then, rather than rushing around trying to cram them all in now. So it is au revoir to the Studios until then.

We went back to Disneyland park and bought icecreams :mickeybar from the Gibson Girl which we took over to the Plaza Gardens to eat. Then over to Fantasyland for a spin on the teacups and then Frontierland for Big Thunder Mountain. I absolutely adore Big Thunder Mountain. It is much much better than the one at WDW. It is much smoother and much longer!

Then we wandered through the shops in Frontierland and Bryan bought a deerstalker hat to wear at Christmas and we all bought some lovely fleece hoodies.

Although it was the last Fantillusion and Wishes tonight, we were all tired and felt that as we had seen both twice, we would not wait to watch them again but would have an early(ish) night. It had been another lovely day. :)

Thanks for sharing your trip report. Seeing your picture under the umbrella really makes me laugh as i remember how much fun we had there. :goodvibes

Thanks for another great trip report Elaine! :cool1:

The Sunday Brunch, looks really good, I have seen this advertised before but hadn't realised it was characters as well - what a plus!! Roughly how much was it per head for adults and children? It sounds excellent! :goodvibes

Great report and great that you had a nice time at the brunch. We have been two weeks ago and were a little dissapointed as there where only Goofy interacting with us and beside them we only saw Mickey, and Chip and Dale from far. :confused3

Greets Renate :wizard:

Another great read Elaine, and lovely photos as always :goodvibes

Thanks for all your kind comments.:goodvibes

Kaye, the Steakhouse brunch cost 32 euros for adults and 10 euros for children.

Renate, what a shame about the characters. This happened to us at the Lucky Nugget, I will mention about this in our trip report for Day 6.

More great character interaction! :sunny:
