Trip Report OKW

I must say I am very sad to be home. We were at BWV 3/30 and OKW 3/31-4/4. It was beautiful. Sunshine and warm temps. A couple of rain showers but nothing to ruin our Spring Break.

We spent 1 night at BWV and I must say I understand why people love this resort. It was great. We had a 1 bdrm room 2026. It was at the end of the hall so no traffic what so ever. Our DD 11 and our neice 13 loved the pool. The staff was tops. We encountered great CMs.

We went to OKW and had a studio 2316 very close to the HH. We loved the pool there too. We did not do any parks other than the Pirates and Princess Party at the Magic Kingdom. I must say that was a lot of fun. There was almost no crowd. We got to ride all the popular rides with maybe a 5 minute wait for each one. The parade and fireworks show were also great. I was afraid our DD and neice would find the party a little babyish but no they had a great time. A CM at the GF told us that the party was not very popular and sales were down but we thought it was a lot of fun. I must say I was a bit leary of not doing parks but it was OK. We got in a lot of relaxing by day and some rounds of miniature golf in the evening. This vacation put a new spin of WDW for my family. We have been so many times and did the whole power vacation to make sure you see all there is to do. Being members of DVC lets you vacation so differently than most who go to WDW. I am so excited because now the DH is ready to add on.

Wow! Congratulations on your soon to be add on! My DCuz went solo to a P&P party and she had a great time too! We hope to try one, but our DGC are just too young now.

We do have our favorites, but really any DVC resort is a great destination for us!!
