Fantasyland beckoned again for breakfast this morning. We were the first into the Chalet au Marionettes and set about eating as much as we could and planning the day.

We had decided that we would take the day to do everything that we had so far failed to do.

We stayed in Fantasyland and rode everything that we could. This included LPDCDF which I had never been on before. The scenery and themeing was awesome and I loved the cave of wonders. (It just shows what can be done when money is apparantly no object:) )

Casey Jr was next on our list and then after that we went to the Alice maze. We actually met Alice just outside the maze by the excessivley large chair, and got the obligatory photo's and autograph (The book was nearly full).

We then went and rode POTC which is a fantastic ride and had an extra suprise in it for us. As we were going into the building to join the queue, Helen grabbed me and pointed at a couple in front of us. They were on their Honeymoon and it was Helen's best friends brother and his wife. We have been really good friends with them for a while, but they had been really secretive about where they were going on Honeymoon. We had a great few hours with them and after lunch, we left them to enjoy their honeymoon alone as me and Helen went over to Frontierland.

We went on PM and I again pointed out the HM that I had found the day before. I was really proud of myslef and wanted to basque in the glory ;) Helen seemed impressed for several fun filled seconds and then we boarded the lift. The lift is the one thing at DLP that creeps her out. She doesn't like the CM's walking around behind her in the pitch black and she kept a tight torniquet-like grip on my arm.

We got the train from FL to DL and went on HISTA. We enjoyed this attraction and it is certainly worth going on if you haven't been before.

Whilst we were in DL, we went on Buzz and I was soundly beaten again. we went to SM and rode that (all the speakers on the train were working for once). I love this ride, but it is certainly quite a rough ride. I try and sit at the front if possible, because there is more leg room and I can sit in a more comfortable position :)

We were disappointed that Indiana Jones was not working for the duration of our stay, but as that was the only ride out of action, we were quite happy.

We decided to watch the parade once more and we had some fantastic seats. This was mainly due to Helen wanting to get the seats about 45mins before the parade started so that we could relax for a bit :)

We left the park after the parade and went over to the Studios to try and get onto Crush's coaster. I said earlier in my TR (day 2 I think), that I would not wait an hour again for this ride, so when we saw that the queue was only 30 mins long, we were happy to join it. We got into the building fairly quickly and when we got to the platform at the top of the stairs, everything stopped and all of the main lights came on.

After 20mins of hearing nothing from the CM's, I went to ask what was happening and they said that there was a fault and they were trying to fix it. We stayed in line and waited..........and waited.................and waited. After 70mins, the ride was back up and running and because of the people that had left the queue, we were on fairly quickly. The ride stopped as we got to the end of the coaster part and all the lights came on again. It was quite good seeing the ride in the light and seeing what you have just been thrown round :)

We finally got off of the ride 2hrs after we had joined the queue - I shouldn't have siad I wouldn't wait for an hour :)

I told Helen that I had somehting to do, so she headed back to the hotel and I went to the glass shop to pick up some wine glasses that I had had engraved with our names and wedding date. She loved them and we had a glass of wine in the hotel, before going to PH for our last evening meal at DLP that year :sad2:

We have made that a bit of a tradition eating at PH on our last night and they didn't dissapoint. We had a fantastic meal and a few cocktails. We both ordered a comet cocktail because it said that it came with a glass that we could keep. The cocktails arrived in fairly bland looking glasses and after a while I asked our waiter if these were the souvenir glasses. He said that he hadn't realised we had wanted them, so we ordered another comet each to get the glasses. The waiter came back with a huge PH souvenir glass filled with a cocktail and said that it was the last one that they had. He told us that because of the mix up and the fact that they only had the one glass left, we could keep the glass and he wouldn't charge us for the cocktail (about 9 euros!) This cocktail was massive as well - about twice the size of our original one :)

After a fantastic meal, we left PH and started to head back to the hotel. Halfway down Disney Village, we realised (in our slightly drunk state) that we had left said glass at the restaurant (all that fuss and we didn't even remember to take it :confused3 )
I went back, but it had gone and I didn't want to ask. I told Helen that we would have to go back next year and pick some up then :) There's a great excuse for going back to Disneyland :)

We got back to the Hotel, had another glass of wine and went to sleep ready for our final day in the resort :sad2:

A lovely day :goodvibes how romantic buying the wine glasses and getting them engraved  and talk about it being a small world when you saw your friends on their honeymoon!

Shame about forgetting your souvenir glass but as you say, it's gives you an excuse to book another trip! :thumbsup2
