Trip Report July3rd-10th-2010

Hi, I'm pretty new here. I was looking at all the other trip reports, I have all my pictures from last year's vacation so I figured why not do one.

Welp, here we go. I guess I should start with who's all going.

We left for Florida July 3rd as the title says, heading out of PHL, once we got there our flight was delayed..so we just waited

Eventually it was time to board the flight and we were off to Florida!!

Flight was great, but once we got to Florida it was raining

After we got our luggage and all went we off to get our rental car to be off to Orange Lake, our home for the week! We had a little issue, there was an elevator to get to the floor of the cars and I don't do elevators lol. So I walked around until I found an escalator, as all my family laughed at me

(sorry if this trip report kinda sucks, this is my first time doing this lol)

After dealing with not being able to fit all our luggage and us in the car, switching cars, walking around this huge parking garage, we were finally off to our home for the next week.

We were stuck in so much traffic and it was pouring, not a great way to start a vacation in florida

Once we got there, my mom and nana went to check in while me and isaiah we went to the pool to test the waters, went inside the arcade and movie theater. I really don't remember what we did that night lol (oops) I pretty sure we went swimming and went to Publix to get groceries for the week.

I do remember ONE thing that happened the first night in florida. I dropped my camera and it broke! I was devasted. I said what is a vacation without a camera. Thank god target was only about 5 or 10 minutes away and I brought a new one. (thank god for good credit and credit cards)

The next day was the 4th of July we were supposed to go to WDW, but we woke up and it was rainy, windy and nasty so we decided to stay at the resort and swim.

While at the West Village pool, Isaiah found a little party, they were doing the cha cha slide, one of his favorites

I don't really remember how things went. We usually don't plan we we're going to go on what days lol. We just go down there and decide when we're there.

We went to Aquatica, Island of Adventure and Disney Quest. I will post all of them in the next post.

I know what your thinking, no pictures of nana. Nana doesn't swim lol so usually when we're in the pools, she's in the condo watching tv or cooking lol

This picture is funny, we were all joking about where we were all going to sleep. We had a 2 bedroom, a queen in the master, and 2 full size beds in the second bedroom and a pull out couch. We joked that isaiah was going to sleep in the bathtub. Don't worry he didn't sleep there

As I said in the post before we went to Aquatica, Island of Adventure and Disney Quest. I will start with Disney Quest because I remember going there first.

Don't have many pictures, but the ones I do have, will do.

they all look crazy in this picture, but i look great

Went went to the roller coaster stimulator, it was a lot of fun. If you never been there, you design a roller coaster on the computer and they give you a card and you get to ride the roller coaster you designed. I have a video of my mom and Isaiah riding it.

We played almost every game and it was right up Isaiah's alley because he loves video games lol.

The adults in my family never let us play gun games, but i guess they made an exception, plus every game was free.

We left and were waiting on nana to pick us up...in the rain lol

Finally nana came and just in time, because it started POURING. Did I mention we went to Florida right after the tropical storm had passed, so we had the ending of it. That night we went to Golden Coral and it poured the hardest it had rained since we had got there,

That night we just went back to the condo and relaxed, it was still raining, so no pool, but that was okay because the next day we were off to Aquatica. Next post!

This day we were off to Aquatica with my uncle William, aunt Kicsha and their daughter Zoe. They were in Florida on vacation the same week as us,

They actually have sand where the wave pools are, pretty good. My mom decided to burry her niece and nephew in the sand lol

We rode some rides and then it was lunch time

The kiddie play area in Aquatica. You can see the clouds rolling it, it rained for little a minute, then it got hotter than it was before lol

One of my favorite rides hands down was Roa Rapids, if you have never been to aquatica I highly recommend going!

I'm sorry you don't see Nana often, but she is usually behind the camera a lot. Since she doesn't swim she didn't go to Aqutica, she also didn't go to Disney Quest, but she did come to IOA with us.

All in all we had a good vacation. Other than the fight I got into with my cousin which left him disowned, but we won't go there.

I can't wait to go back this year. My countdown is in my siggy! I am so excited
