On Monday, we headed over to Clearwater, west coast of Florida by Tampa to visit with my mom. My FIL picked us up around 11:30 and we headed out. Its about 1 1/2 hour drive or so.
Before that we took the boat over to the Contemporary and had a quick service breakfast. I loved being on the dining plan. Wilderness Lodge and the Contemporary had really good quick service meals. The Fort was ok, but they definately need something like the other two have.
Just a few pics from my moms townhouse pool.
So we headed out of Clearwater around 10-10:30pm or so. Myself and the kids basically slept all the way back to the cabin. We got there around 12-12:30am, put the kids to bed

. FIL was staying the night to hang out with us the last day

.
Since I was so full of energy, I was going to go looping since I didn't have much time to take the cart by myself. Oh yeah, It's like 1am.
I should of taken the camera on this adventure, but I didn't.
I drove around a couple of loops to see the campers lights, blah, blah, blah. My main mission was to see where I could TAKE the cart

. I was being good for the most part. I did wonder into CM only areas and looked around.
For the most part I stayed where carts were only allowed to go. I did go into this one area that was basically a 2 track alley. It was by an exit, not the main one, but by a little one I didn't discover during the day. It had really big pot holes and it was in the middle of the woods. There was no sign that said no carts, but again, it was 1am so there could of been a sign. I ventured in only about a quarter of a mile, surrounded by dark. If I wasn't in FL, and there wasn't man eatting spiders, I would of ventured some more. So I turned around and continued my looping. Went by the stables and saw 1 horse standing, and 1 horse laying down. I forgot horses lay down for a little while, and at that time, I thought it was dead. But went back a few min later and it was kinda sitting up. So that night I think I saw the same 4 deer we saw a previous night, a family of armadillos, did you know they are blind? And a billion rabbits. My cart was acting flaky because it wasn't charged all day, so I headed back and called it a night. That was fun though, I recommend looping late at night or early, early am.
Oh Yeah, in case your wondering some more, the top bunk does hold a pooh sized person, yes me

. FIL was sleeping on the murphy bed, DS never wanted to sleep on the top bunk, but did before we got to the Fort, so he shared bottom with DD. DH and me, both pooh sized if you couldn't tell from the pics, had to share the double bed

That didn't work, especially with DH sawing logs in my ear

So off to the top bunk I go. Scared all night I was going to crash into the bottom bunk.
End of Monday night.
