Well I'm sure this trip report won't be as interesting or funny as many of these posted here, however I want to write this out so that I can have a keepsake! So I've included you all in for the ride!

The cast:

Allison (me!) – I love Disney! I spent several hours planning our trip. I organized all our ADR’s and created a guide to sorta follow while we were in the parks. I made matching T-Shirts for each park (with the help from the people on the creative board!). I made the autograph books for my kids, and their Epcot passports.

Jeremy (DH)
– He is a *live in the moment* kinda guy and does not like planning things. He is more than willing to go with the flow (my plans..LOL). He is not WAY into Disney, but he likes it. He doesn’t hug characters or wear mouse-ears though. I’m working on him though. I did get him to wear matching T-Shirts!

Taylor (DD) – She is 8 years old and loves Hannah Montana and High School Musical. She likes the characters but doesn’t really have a favorite. She likes roller coasters, but dislikes all *creepy* rides (POTC, HM, ToT, EE, Snow White, Maelstrom, etc…). This was her 2nd Disney trip.

Skye (DD) – She is 2 years old and very much a Mommy’s Baby! This was her first Disney trip. She LOVES the characters and ran to give them hugs every time she saw them. She is very sensitive and cuddly!

Chloe (DD) – She is 1 year old (15 months) and we call her Miss Monster…lol. She loves to terrorize her sensitive sister and is very loud and rambunctious when she is excited. She has the most adorable smile you’ve ever seen. She’s been walking since she was 8 months old and wants to RUN everywhere. She HATES getting into carseats and strollers and will scream like you’ve never heard while she is getting buckled in. This was her 1st trip to Disney also!

1st day!

We drove from Jacksonville. It was about a 3 hour drive and it wasn’t bad at all. The kids slept most of the way down. We arrived at POP around noon. When we made the turn into the Pop Century resort, I had a huge smile on my face…well all of us did! I had seen so many pictures, I felt like I had been there before. And I really felt like I was coming home! The colors and larger than life doo-dads had the kids (and me!) enthralled. :lovestruc

I went and checked us in (room was ready) while DH and the kiddos went into the gift shop. I was given our welcome packet and keys! I found DH and the kids and we went off to find the room! Taylor was so excited because she got her very own key with her name on it! LOL! Our room was in the 70’s building on the 2nd floor overlooking the Big Wheel.

When we got to the room, Jeremy went back down to get our luggage. So the girls and I took the time to Jump on the Bed! I was a kid again!!! WOO HOO… :dance3:

With the luggage back in the room we got everything unpacked. Taylor situated all the clothes in the drawers and Skye insisted on putting her bathing suit on right away. Then we headed down to eat lunch and get our refillable mugs! After eating, we went back to the room and changed into our suits and to the pool we went! Most of our pool time was spent in the kiddie pool and the goofy splash fountain thingies. The kiddie pool was awesome! The girls loved it.

Around 4 we got dressed to head out for dinner. We had ADR’s for Trails End Buffet in Fort Wilderness at 6pm. First we had to go to Animal Kingdom guest services to activate our passes and purchase our Disney Dining Experience card so we left a little early. We drove everywhere we needed to go because it was just easier for us. When the kids get a little bigger I’ll be more apt to try out Disney transportation.

When we got to Fort Wilderness we realized that we would have to take the bus to get from the front to the restaurant so the kids got to experience some of the Disney bus anyway!

Trails End Buffet had great food! My favorite was the mashed potatoes. The kids loved the mac n cheese. The dessert was bad though. It was very stale. I hope it isn’t always like that. Our table wasn’t in the greatest area either, we were right in the walkway of people coming into the restaurant, so we had constant people traffic beside us. Not the best thing when our 1 year old monster wants to throw food and grab at people’s clothes!

After dinner we headed to the campfire!
