Trip Report Day 2 Universal Studios

Well it is off to the first full day. Today is Universal Studios. We were up early and just grabbed a donut in the room. I walked up to the food court for a danish and some milk and other drinks while the others dressed. We arrived at US at 8:40 a.m. They were already letting people in. I sent my husband to Terminator 3D, while my DD and myself collected autographs from some of the characters. There were quite a few out early. Then it was to ET, Animal Planet show. It was time to catch a few more autographs. We basically walked on everything. It was not very busy at all. We also heard from a few employees that it was slow but just had a record breaking few weeks. Not a benefit for them but for us it was great. We did everything. One thing not too miss is the Wild, Wild West Stunt show. Hang around after the show and the cast members come out and talk to people. Our DD had a great time with the guys. She had them sign her autograph book and we took pictures. The whole day was great. Did alittle shopping at Citywalk. As far as food, today we just grabbed some fast food. My DH has to have a turkey leg if they are around. I do not understand why people like them but I am not one to criticize.

We have always liked US and IOA and would probably next time stay at one of their hotels. Just for convenience. It was a great time!

We did IOA last September, but never US. We plan on both in January 2003.
