This is my first trip report about my first trip to WDW. I will start out by saying Tink was watching over us. I could not have asked for a better vacation.

We flew to MCO using DME and it worked like a dream. The CM at the arrival gate was a little hard to find but not a big issue. Checked into All Stars Sport and got our preferred rooms. WAHOOO We checked in at 10:10 P.M and told the front desk to just hold our luggage til the A.M. Sinse it would be late before it arrived at the hotel. However at 10:45 KNOCK KNOCK on the door our luggage was here.
Day1 Magic Kingdom
Got to the park 10 min before opening and got to see the opening ceremony, and entered MK and was just amazed that we were actually there. Got nailed for pics going down Main St. was told about Photopass and had lots of photos taken. This is a good service. Went to the Castle and took the pics and decided it was ride time. Went to Tomorrow Land and did Space Mt, Astro Orbitor, Buzz Lightyears Space Rangers Spin, Stitches great escape, TTA, Carasel of progress, Then it was time for our lunch reservations at CP with Pooh and company, food was good and met all the characters. Then it was off to Fantasy Land for Its a small world, Philharmagic, Flight of Peter Pan, unfortunatly there are no saturday shows for the Sword and the Stone. Watched the Share a Dream parade, done the Liberty Square riverboat ride, caught Haunted Mansion and Big Thunder Mountain. Then as I found out happens alot in August in Fl, the rain came in, HARD. Made our way to Country Bear Jamboree hoping it would end. No Go. They had shut the rides down and it was after 5 and it had been a good day. Soooo we headed back to the hotel to rest up, dinner and swimming 20 min after we got back. We used the Disney Dining Plan. This works good except you should be able to opt out if you dont want a desert. This is a waste of food. We had to take one but never ate them. Tried to give as many as we could away.
To this point Philharmagic was my favorite attraction.
Day 2 MGM
Started out at Chef Mickeys, once again food was excellent and met Mickey. Went to MGM and once again used our photopass, cant say enough good things about this service. DD and DS were screaming for Rock-n-Roller Coaster, now i am good sized fella but had decided that we were doing all the rides together. This is my new favorite ride of all time. OMG this is awesome. TOT, Voyage of the little mermaid, Millionaire lunch at the Sci Fi, Star Tours, Indiana Jones, Beauty and the Beast, yes I cried. went 90 min early to get a good seat at Fantasmic. I want to say, If you have never seen Fantasmic this is a must see. It was incredible.
Day 3 Blizzard Beach
Good water park, buy the free refill cup. DD and I did the Summett Plummet, neither of us liked the slide. Wedgie from you know where and I am sporting some bruising from the trip down the slide. Went back to MK and caught wishes sinse we missed it the first nite and once again was amazed. This is another must see.
Day 4 Animal Kingdom
Went to this park not fully prepared on what to do. The Tree of Life is amazing. Did Donalds breakfast, Food not so good, Dinosaur was ok, primeval whirl is a rough one to ride. Its tough to be a bug is funny, Festival of the Lion King was entertaining but no Rafiki.
Did the safari was a good ride, Kali River Rapids is not worth the hype given to it. If you cant FP this ride dont bother. Left the park and cleaned up and went to DTD. Had dinner at Rainforest Cafe, very good food and atmosphere. Everyone was pooped by the end of dinner so we called it a nite.
Day 5 Typhoon Lagoon
Another good water park, wave pool is awesome. One big fat wave every 90 seconds is much better then other wave pools beating you to death constantly. Nice lazy river.
*NOTE they need more refill stations for the cups.
Katrina ran us out of this park way before we were ready. So we headed to DTD to DisneyQuest I thought my DS was going to explode right there on the spot. 5hrs later draggin him out kicking and screaming when they closed.
Day 6 Epcot
I scored at this park. I got a same day reservation to the Princess Breakfast at Norway. Tink was on my side. Grabbed a FP for soarin went to Journey into the Imagination and Honey, I shrunk the audience, went to Soarin, Spaceship Earth, Test Track, took the ferry over to Boardwalk for lunch at ESPN, went thru the World Showcase and caught Illuminations.
Day 7 Hopping Day
This was our day hit our favorite rides again. Soarin, Rock-n-Roller Coast, TOT, Space Mountain, and ended the trip at DTD another 5 hrs in DisneyQwest.
I loved this trip and used alot of the tips from this board.
