The party consisted of me, my mom and sister. Okay, despite the crowds (being this IS Spring Break! Arrrrgh! :crazy2: ), this turned out to be a very good visit! We got on a good deal of rides even when we arrived in the afternoon, around 1 p.m. to be exact.

The first thing we did was go over to DCA and ride "Mike and Sulley to the Rescue," something we've done but have been wanting to do for awhile. The three of us shared one cab by taking up all three seats each. I sat in the front, Mom in the second row, and my sister in the back. At the end, Roz said to Mom, "Hey, lady, yeah you in the second row! I like your glasses! Wanna trade?" My mom really does wear glasses, too! Shaking her head, she goes, "No, thanks!" As the cab pulled away, I heard Roz go, "Fine! Be that way!" I thought that was too funny! :lmao:

After the ride, we decided to head over to DL to have lunch at the River Belle Terrace. We first stopped at "Indiana Jones" to get a Fast Pass to return between 5:05-6:05. At the moment, the ride was down and we worried it would still be that way when we got back. Next, we went to go have our lunch and then go hop in line for "The Haunted Mansion." The line was out the gate, but moved fairly quickly and we were over and done with it in no time. Still, I can never get tired of that ride. ;)

Next, we walked over to Critter Country to jump on "Winnie the Pooh." The line started underneath that barn passage. Quite expected for a crowded day. At that time, it was almost 4:20 which meant we could pick up a second Fast Pass along with our "Indiana Jones" one. We waited to get a FP for "Splash Mountain," getting a return time of 7:30-8:30.

There was still time before we could use our "Indiana Jones" FP, so we made our way through Frontierland and onto Fantasyland to go on rides. We rode "Pinocchio's Daring Journey" and frowned to the line of "Peter Pan's Flight." Ugh, you all know the drill: crowded as usual. We went through the castle and made our way back over to "Indiana Jones," finding out the ride was down at our FP time! It got heavily crowded near the Stand-by and FP entrance and people just waited to be let in, us included. When they removed the rope, I went to move and dropped my FP on the ground! I quickly got it and we got on the ride at 5:30. I clocked the ride from 5:35 to 5:39, four minutes long.

After that, an icy cold snack sounded real good. What can I say? We screamed too much on "Indiana Jones!" We almost went back to River Belle Terrace, but I stated I had been craving a Pineapple Dole Whip Float. My mom and sister wanted one as well, so we headed to "The Enchanted Tiki Room" area. As we got our drinks, the next show was starting up. We decided to sit through it in the back of the room with our feet up and happily singing along. It felt good to sit whenever possible!

Once we got out, we could feel rain drops starting to fall. It was only 6:30, a full hour away from our FP time for "Splash Mountain." My mom and sister wanted to go home, but I protested. It was unfair that we always leave so early and I was still awake to get in a few more rides! I suggested we hadn't hit Tomorrowland yet and that was our next stop. We arrived to see "Star Tours" had a 35 minute wait, but it went a lot faster then that. We got on and sat in the very front row, something we haven't done in a very long time.

After that, a parade was starting up on Main Street, so we made our way back into Fantasyland and was determined to ride "Peter Pan's Flight" no matter how long the line was. Rain drops started to fall harder, but we remained in line. I clocked it about a 30 minute wait. I really love that ride and I'm glad we got to ride it. Next, we still had time to jump on "Mr. Toad's Wild Ride" which had a fairly short line. By then, it was after 7:30 and time to head back to Critter Country and to "Splash Mountain!"

Funny when we got there, the Stand-by line was empty due to no one wanting to go on a water ride in the rain! The Fast Passes still helped because we bypassed the long line inside, all the way toward the boarding zone area. We put Mom in the very back of the log because she did NOT want to get wet. Well, that can't be helped. I corrected her by saying, "You will get wet, but you will be spared getting drenched!" I sat third row from the back and somehow, a gush of water found its way into the log and on my right leg! That one part of me got badly soaked, but that's about it. The front seat is the worst, a spot I've had many times and regretted! Sadly, our photo didn't come out and I was quite upset. We waited a long time, too, and never saw it.

Lastly, I caught "The Haunted Mansion" had a 5 minute wait and I could NOT pass up riding it again! Ironically, if you don't count DCA, HM was the first ride we rode when we arrived in DL and the last ride we rode at the end of the night! And I should mention, we rode down the left elevator first and the front elevator last. They're the same, of course, but it was interesting to ride down both elevators in one day! :woohoo:

After that, we jumped on the Disneyland Railroad to head back to Main Street and then home. It was 9 p.m. when we got to the car, but we were too hungry to drive home on an empty stomach. We went to McDonald's on Harbor Blvd. to get some food and then sit in the parking lot to eat. Right at that time, "Remember, Dreams Come True" fireworks started up and we got to watch it from our car! We couldn't hear the music, of course, but judging by the fireworks, we knew which parts were which! It was awesome and a nice way to end the evening. :thumbsup2
