We got a late start in the day, arriving at the gate at around 1:30 in the afternoon. This time it was just me, my mom, aunt and uncle going. The CM at the parking lot informed us that DL was 'miserably crowded,' so we decided if that was the case, we should do what we can and then leave. We got to DTD and saw how crowded security check and the main gate looked. We planned on eating at the Coca Cola hot dog place on Main Street, but instead, went over to La Brea Bakery. They've got hot dogs, too. Real good ones!

After eating, we walked into DL and headed straight for BTMR. We all got Fast Passes to return between 3:55 and 4:55. It was just going on 3 p.m., so we went off to go ride HM. POTC is a sad sight if anyone has seen it. Both underpasses are blocked with cardboard images and there's signs of it saying closed until late June. I didn't take photos of it, but I might one of these days. You know, making history of when the renovations happened and such? What made it 'miserably crowded' was how busy the walk-ways were. Not all crowded days are bad, but this was considerably not good. Getting to HM was a bit of a up-stream effect. When it gets like that, we all link hands so that we don't lose each other. HM's wait time said 20 minutes yet the line started almost near that glow-in-the dark Hitch Hiking Ghost picture! We jumped in line anyway. I clocked it at 3:07 when we first got in line and then it was 3:22 when we got to the front door. Not too bad!

After HM, we still had time before 3:55 for BTMR, so we walked over to do Winnie the Pooh. Splash Mountain's line started right near the exit of HM and no one in my group was interested in getting wet. Winnie the Pooh had a small wait, but it doesn't take too long to get on. We next went inside the nearby souvenir shop and when leaving, I spotted Rabbit posing for pictures near Splash Mountain's exit! I've never seen him before and we didn't go pose for pictures! Pooh came skipping by with a girl chasing him down, wanting his autograph. He skipped past Rabbit toward the CM-only door and waved the girl off, or tried to tell her he'd be back later. We saw the whole thing and my uncle went, "Jeez, and she ran all that way! I would have stopped for her!"

We did our Fast Pass for BTMR, only a 7 minute wait in line (WOOT! :woohoo: ) and then went to see how the line looked for Indiana Jones. That area gets jam-packed and we immediately linked hands. The wait time said 75 minutes and the FP's were between 10:25 and 11:25.
Well, forget that! Instead, we slipped into the Riverbelle Terrace to get some dessert. Leaving the exit on the Indiana Jones side, I spotted Jane from "Disney's Tarzan"! It was yet another character I've never seen before! Again, I didn't get any photos and we ended up leaving for DCA. We got to Main Street right at 5 p.m. to see the ceremony of the flag being taken down for the evening. I thought I saw the Mayor standing there, but I didn't want to bother him, which meant I missed talking to him once more! We stayed and watched, sort of sang "The National Anthem" with the music, and then left for DCA.

In DCA, we walked over to Condor Flats first to see how SOC looked. It was a 60 minute wait and the FP read to return between 9:10 and 10:10. I knew we weren't going to stay that late, so we continued toward GC and made our way to Paradise Pier. I really wanted to ride Screamin' but the wait was 45 minutes. My mom and aunt don't ride roller coasters and didn't want to wait that long. We ended up all going on the Sun Wheel, something Mom and I have never done before. We got on the non-moving gondola since Mom was already nervous about heights. It was a beautiful view, but very cold at that time of night!

After that, everyone wanted to go to Pizza Oom Mow Mow and I knew that meant I wouldn't get on Screamin' that day. *pout* :( We ate there and then headed over to A Bug's Land to ride on some of the kiddie rides. By then, it was almost 8 p.m. and my mom and aunt were tired and wanted to go home. My uncle and I wanted to stay as late as midnight! We got to the parking lot by almost 8:30 and back home by 10 p.m.

I just noticed we missed quite a bit of DL. We never went to Fantasyland, Toontown or Tomorrowland. Only NOS, Critter Country, Frontierland and Adventureland! Crazy!

And that's my report!
