WARNING ALL THIS WAS DONE IN 40 C DO NOT ATEMPT THESE TRICKS AT HOME
CAST DM (ME 42) DA (50) DD(9) DS(BORROWED)9
Hold on tight cos here we go off to disneyland !
Arrived at hotel kyriad at 9pm after a very long coach /ferry journey from yorkshire wont talk about that! Very pleased with the hotel for a buget one it was clean in nice surroundings and a bed which is all we really needed.had a little walk to look at holidayinn explorers and dreamcastle and went to bed ready for the next day.
Had a breakfast ticket for 8.30 -9.00 but told a white lie and said we were meeting friends and got one for 7.30 /8.oo pleasent breakfast sat outside in the courtyard to eat (when n france ect) crossents and coffee nice.
caught 8.15 shuttle bus to park and went to frontierland and waited for the rope drop. Got a FP for BTM as it wasn,t working straight away.Then headed for POTC no wait in fact it was spooky as we were the only ones waking down into the caves.after that we went to PM no wait again .time for BTM with our fast pass no wait YIPEE THIS IS GOING WELL.
Next on to discoveryland to get a FP for buzz (not been on this before) and then went on ST (10 mins wait) Had a look in some shops and then it was time for buzz with FP (10mins) We all laughed on this one so much .the kids got loads higher scores than us( too many video games) Then went into cafe hyperion for lunch had the set burger fries drinks meal (10 euro) nice and cool in there .we then popped to say hello to th dragon under the castle and stoped for a ice cream and sat in central plaza.looked at the castle windows and in the christmas shop .
To let lunch settle we had a ride on Small World (no wait) and then caught the steam train back to Adventureland just missed a train and had a hot wait for next one. went to IJTP DS was tall enough but DD was just a couple of inches short had tears and a CM gave har some stickers and e had a chat with him , we decided if we all couldn,t go we would not bother think DS was glad deep down as he was not sure (neither was I!!)
So went back on POTC (10 mins) and got a fast pass to use later on the night for BTM.(STILL WITH ME ? KEEP UP) caught the next Tarzan show love this all that phil collins music is so nice and DD got up to bang the pots and pans with a girl monkeyThought we would try to meet a princess next and I think we waited about 20mins when it was our turn it was Jasmine and Aladdin so both DD and DS were happy Aladdin kept jumping over the rope to kiss jasmine and she was really nice and talked loads and asked the them what their favorite ride was and were they going to watch the princess parade and when we said yes she said "Wicked".
Tea time so we went into caseys corner for a hot dog (fries again and a drink 10 eur) And then found a spot for the princess parade at about 6.30 sat near one of the green lamposts in central plaza and had a ice cream Loverly parade as always and went around with "singing a catchy rythmn ,dancing a happy tune" for the next hour .
IT was time to use our FP for BTM and DA and I got a fit of giggles on it as we held our arms up ans as DA was smaller than me she keep falling on me DD and DS said we were embrassing which made us laugh more. Had to collect Aladdin and Jasmine pics from photo shop and DD bought a minnie mouse costume.SAt down about 9.30 for Fantillusion about on the corner of central plaza and main street .DD had put here MM dress on and was spining around in it and got talking to another little girlfor about a hour and ened up swaping adresses and emails she was from ORLANDO can you belive it.
Mickeys float got stuck in front of us and then all the parade was sort of out of sync after that and we didn,t see any of the villans stops as there seemed to be a big grap in the parade as it got to us but it was still nice.WISHES WOW we stood in the middle of central plaza across from the middle dispaly so not many people wher in front of us and it brought a tear to my eye.Got back to hotel just before midnight so the shuttle bus didn,t turn into a pumpkin .
so 1st day over cant belive how much we did ,spent hundreds of pounds so it seemed on water but we just drank so much it was so hot(but better than rain) and it was just dripping of us a good night s sleep and ready for round 2 tomorrow .
