Thursday, August 14th..it ranied and rained and rained. We ate breakfast and decided to go drive around. We ened up at Target.
We stopped bye Mcdonalds for the kids. Then we went back to the resort. It got clearer and the sun shined again.
We did not go to the theme parks today. My dh rented the boats and took the kids out. We went to the pool and took it easy.
It was a very relaxing day.
Friday, August 15th..we decided to go to MGM. We are on the bus and it down pours..Yes..I forgot the rain coats. We ended up buying them at MGM. I wished I tooked a picture of all the people at MGM with yellow slickers and Mickey's face on the back. Least I was not the only one who forgot. We walked a bit..my dh decided not to get a stroller because we didn't know how long we would stay because of the rain. We stayed longer ..the sun did come out. The kids are passing out from walking. As he walked in every other direction ..as my dd know asisting on me holding her. I scream I am getting a stroller!!!!!!!!
We got a double stroller and single stroller..we saw Buzz, Jessie, Woodie and army men. My dd almost 2 smiles when she see's them far away. Then, we approached them ....screams bloody murder. My other kids loved it. We had lunch at Pizza Planet...we walked a bit more. I told dh to go see the Muppet Movie ..I'll wait with dd2. They were in and out ds started crying. I felt bad for dd5...I knew she wanted to see it. My dh is getting annoyed with walking and the rain, humidity and what not. We decided to start headed out. ..basically the only ride they did was the mermaid. My dd really wanted to see Mickey..on the way out we stopped and got his autograph..then, the rain, lightening..started. We put our coats back on and started walking. I was a little upset..the parade was going to start in fifteen minutes or so..he didn't want to stay..so we got back to the bus and back to resort.
Saturday, August 16th..we decided to go back to MK. The ferry from WDL to the MK was great. I wish we would have done that instead of the bus. We went to Minnie's house, looked around for characters..did splash mountain, big railroad train ride..I was in the right place when the parade started. My dd5 got pulled in by Donald Duck to dance in the parade!
She looks at me as if I should tell her its okay to go. I said ..go go!
She had a smile ear to ear. It was great!
I wanted too see the spectular night parade and said to dh..lets go back to the resort..relax, swim what not wand well go back to the park.
We decided to drive our car to the park..wrong, wrong move. So, we get the shuttle and take the monirail..which was neat the kids like it. We got a stroller for all the kids..one single and one double.
Just as we arrived the spectular parade started...my dd5 run up behind the crown to see what we could. A very nice couple infront of us ..said she could go up closer and sit on the edge to get a better look. I thank them and dd squeezed in. ..we walked up the castle. The meltdown of ds and dd begin. DD almost 2 is going through her tandrums right now. Yes, the terrible two's. She is screaming her lungs out and ds is just having a melt down because he's tried.
Its a few minutes before the fireworks...I just wanted to see them. DH is telling me...we are leaving. Two-minutes..two minutes..we walked to the main gate. I sat down and with dd 2 having her screaming fit..I got her to calm down. Gave my ds a drink and got him to calm down...the fireworks start.
It was very nice to see..but know for the ride back. We are waiting for the monarail. DS is screaming bloody murder twisting is body..just having a meltdown. DD starts screaming again...not as bad. We get to the shuttle and to the truck ..put them in there carseats. Drove back to the resort and they were fast asleep.
August 17th..I really wanted to take the kids to Universal Studios. So, we did..it was expensive and I had no codes or deals. My dh said Do you know how much this is costing.
We get inside the park..it was not really crowded. I got a GVAC pass for my son. We went to get some lunch and started walking around. There's Scooby Doo and Curious George doing a dance. My DH and DD went on the ET ride. DS and DD were sound asleep.
I walked around and they took a good nap and decided to walk over to Barney's playground. Then, we walked over to American Tales playground..they loved the water coming down. They were soak..no bathing suits or change of clothes...you figured I learn this after being a mom for almost six years.
It was hot and humid..my dd wanted to ride the roller coaster. My dh took the kids to Curious George Water House. My dd and I waited online for the coaster ride. Then we went to the Curious George House...at this point..I am so hot. I walked around with dd5 in the house...we were soaked. It was cute and kids loved it. There were a bit upset to walk away.
We went to the MEN IN BLACK ride..ds was too small
. So, dd and I went on it. It was cute..then we went to see Jaws.
I told my dh ..I'll wait with the baby and you guys can go on it.
Oh no..let's all go on it.

My dd2 screamed blood murder when Jaws came out. I am holding her in my lap and she ripped her nails into my freshly sunburned arms. I looked at my dh..Oh let's all go on it. It was too scary for her ..I should had never brought her on. Know she doesn't he want to go in the tub!
Then, we went to the Earthquake..my dh took the older kids. DD and I walked around. Then, I wanted to see Twister..my son and I went. He loved it! He was screaming in excitement..especially when the cow flew bye.
Went to Jimmy Neutron..stood on line...dd2 was started to cry. I walked out with her before even getting on the ride. Then, dd and I went to see Shrek. It was cute.
The park was just about closing and we went back to the resort.
Monday, August 18th..time to check out. We got up ate breakfast, took showers, give the kids baths..packed the rest of our stuff and it was time to go!
My dh started to drive..somewhere in NC he asked me to start driving. I was so wipe out..I drove a short distance and stopped the truck..I was so tired. I couldn't drive. He drove straight thur. It took a little longer about 19hours...made many pit stops for dd5. Got home..dh went straight to bed...I unpacked.
Bye my surprise dh asked to me to looked into the DVC. The villas were great. Its nice to make something too eat and relax in the room. There is alot of room...I feel very spoiled and so grateful we were upgraded to a 2 BR villa. So, now were saving again and hopefully we can go next year.
