I am so sad right now. Just found out we are going to have to postpone our trip until the end of July. I was so happy we were under the one month mark and now it is back up to almost 2. Not to mention I have to cancel the rental car(I booked yesterday), the dining reservations, and the hotel and reschedule them. Ugh sometimes life just gets in the way. Oh well, at least my bosses have almost another month to find someone to work my shifts while I am gone.

Im so sorry that you had to postpone everything but hopefully your bosses will find someone soon!

Ugh, what a bummer! I totally know the feeling. We rescheduled so many times that it was 9 mos from initial trip to when we actually stepped into the park. Look at it this way...another month to save up for souvenirs!

I did just mention to oldest dd that we should have more money to spend. So, at least they should be happy for that.

Darn!!! Know how it feels too...we are just about to go on our October (2010) trip in a few weeks...that was a long wait! Have fun planning and looking forward to it and before you know it you will be there!

I'm sorry you have to postpone it--but I'm glad it isn't for very long!

Better late than never. I'm sure in a few days you will feel fine and be looking forward to the trip just as much, because planning is fun and you get more of it.

Oh well, you will have an extra month of Disney Daydreaming :cloud9:

Happy to know you still get to go :goodvibes

Was your original trip 4th of July???

If so don't worry, I think you later July dates will be better, and it isn't that far off.

Last year we were less than 3 wks away from a cruise when DH blew out his knee and had to have surgery. :sad2: So we postponed our vacation for a year. (It took months for him to heal, plus cruises to northern europe aren't available year round.) Now that we're less than two wks away from our rescheduled trip I'm still paranoid that something is going to go wrong again. Note to self: think positive. it will work out this time. If not, third time's the charm.

You get an extra month for the massive surge of people rushing to new rides to die down a little. That's good, right? :grouphug:

It's disappointing, but I bet there will be something wonderful that you'd have missed if you'd gone as scheduled. It will be great. :)

Thanks to everyone who replied. Feeling a little better. Broke my hear to see the ticker go from 28 to over 50 but like everyone said crowds should be better. Thanks again everyone.
