My boyfriend and I (25 years old) are planning to go for our first trip (one week) to disneyworld next May. We were suppose to go this May but plans fell through. I think one of the biggest mistakes we made the first time was booking through a travel agent just because she used to be a neighbour of his from the past. This time around I want to look around. Any suggestions? I would like to book through a travel agent still just to have someone there to answer questions etc. Are there usually any package deals available? I know there are some for value resorts but how about moderates???? Also, are there big savings/differences from different travel agents. We were thinking of looking at this years rates to get a rough estimate for next years.

Any suggestions/advice would be great!!!!

thanks

If you have AAA they have there own travel agency. They are the only real discount (other then an AP discount) you will find. As far as needing questions answered you are at the best place for that. I planned our first WDW trip in 2004 through the Disney website. All the info I need (and it was a lot) I was able to find here, the only thing I had to call Disney for was to make ADR's. My next trip (Oct.) is booked through AAA and I saved about $250. I am sorry I can't answer all you questions but I am sure someone will. Good Luck, Melissa

We went May 2005. We got prices from two different travel agents. We found making the reservations ourself was cheaper. It is also a lot of fun to do the research yourself. Have fun!
