Very excited to now start planning our next trip to Orlando for 3 weeks in May. Looking for some inspiration from this great DIS forum :) This trip co-incides with one of our sons finishing his study abroad in North Carolina on the 9th of May. Our last trip was in October 2012 where we travelled with friends but without the kids for the first time ever! It was our first time in a Disney Villa at OKW for 2 weeks with free Dining and 4 nights at RPR at Universal. Needless to say we had an amazing time and the kids are keen to do something similar in May particularly Disney Dining! Having priced up via WDW UK prices have risen (no surprise there) to either £2171 for a studio at OKW or £2964 for a one bed villa (which may have to be our preferred choice if our eldest son Sam wants to come too) as there will be 5 of us. So my thoughts so far are... Bite the bullet and book the same as I did in 2012 (although to be honest 2 weeks of Disney Dining is a challenge in itself... still carrying the extra pounds around my waistline!) or consider 1 week at OKW, 3/4 nights Universal maybe HRH as thats the only one we have yet to try and 1 week in a hotel outside Disney but close enough to make sure we can maximise our time inside the parks. Any help and advise would be gratefully appreciated.
