My fiance and I are going to take a trip to the UK, France, Italy and Austria after we get married next summer. Our plan is to arrive in Paris on a Sunday morning, and head straight to DLP to spend the day there and also spending the day in the parks on Monday, staying at DLH both nights.

As of right now the dates aren't open, but I am hoping to book it when they open up. I just wanted to make sure I don't book a trip that will drop substantially in cost later on.

What is a reasonable price for 2 days/2 nights at DLH (I assume all packages come with tickets)? Any currency is fine, I can always convert.

It depends what month you go in. July and August are usually expensive due to school summer holidays.

If you go on the DLP website there is a brochure section where you can view this Summer's prices. This would give you an approximate but bare in mind the prices may go up a bit for next summer.

It is true that July/August prices are higher to factor in the school holidays, but the parks are open longer till 11pm, there are fireworks and also the night time Fantillusion parade, which doesn't feature outside of Summer and Christmas season. These three things alone are enough to warrant the higher prices!

If you can use a UK address and book through the UK site, you will be able to take advantage of the offers that we have (i.e the 40% off offer which has come out for the past two years in February - April, then extended through till July for bookings up until November then February of the following year)

If you want to see the best of DLP, then a summer trip is in order :thumbsup2

As for the prices of the DLH I can't help you out there as I've never stayed, but others have on the boards and I'm sure that they will have a rough idea :goodvibes

Thanks to both of you for your help.

Unfortunately I probably will have to stick with a US address, maybe I can find a coworker in the UK and take advantage of their address when booking, but chances are I won't have that luxury.

We are looking at a Sunday and Monday, July 24 and 25, so probably right in the peak of the busy summer season. Does that 40% off promotion apply to summer months too or is that just for the off-season times?

Thanks again for the help.

The 40% promotion is announced from time to time so its just a matter of waiting and hoping.
When we went last summer (09) we got 40% off and that was late July so right in the middle of the summer season

If you remember, could you let me know when that offer opened up? My other concern is booking too late and not being able to get into DLH, since we both REALLY want to stay there.

Thanks again for all the help everyone.

If you keep checking this section of the board, don't worry ou will know when the offer is out because we will all be talking about it!
Also you can sign up for email alerts on the Disneyland Paris website and they will email you about offers too :)

Congratulations on your upcoming marriage! :goodvibes

I had no trouble booking on the UK site with a US address, and others have reported the same. :thumbsup2 The UK site gets the great deals that the US site never has. I just put in my Virginia address (where we no longer live) and left the country as UK. They don't snail-mail you anything, so it doesn't really matter. :confused3

Awesome news. I'll have to do that. To the above poster. I am not so much worried about not knowing about the deal when it comes out, I'm more worried that by the time the deal comes out the DLH will be booked up. Do summer offers usually come out far enough in advance to book DLH? Like, early 2011 or spring 2011 would be when expected?

Thanks again

I don't think there will a problem with availability. When discounts are offered all the hotels are included, however not always on the same dates.

For example, this year we tried to book Hotel New York, but the dates we needed only carried a 30% discount (if we'd booked a date either side we would have got 40%) so ended up with 40% at DLH which worked out cheaper for us.

If it were me, I'd wait until March to see what is on offer. A 40% has been offered the last 2 years, but I suppose there is never a guarantee.

I wouldn't worry about availability - it's very unlikely that the hotel will be fully booked.
