Hi, me and my girlfriend are going to Orlando for the first time over easter. We arrive the saturday night of easter for 2 weeks. We have no idea whats the best way about going to visit places other than where we want to go.

We have 14 day tickets for universal and disney, plus a ticket to kennedy space center. We also want a shopping day and 3 days to do the disney water parks.

Can anyone recommend us an itinerary (we arrive saturday early evening,First main day will be easter sunday) for the holiday including all of the above.

Thanks in advance for any help

Will you have a car? I'm going to assume you have and that you are prepared to get up for when the parks open (only way not to queue all day).

First. Check when Disney parks have EMH and unless you are staying in a Disney hotel do not visit the park with EMH. You can't use them and it inflates the crowds.

I suggest you give yourself a later start every third day or you will hit the wall. This gives you 9 early starts.

Open each of these parks once so you arrive about 30 mins before official opening time. MK, DHS, Epcot, AK, Islands of Adventure, Universal Studios, both Disney water parks and Kennedy. Actually that's 10 early starts so sacrifice one of the water parks if you need another lie in. Shopping for a day. A second afternoon and evening at MK and either DHS or Epcot for their fireworks. To see all the Disney evening entertainment that means the two parks you don't revisit need an opening to closing approach.

Hope this is helpful.

Ps. Book your fast passes for the Disney parks once you have decided which days you are visisitng them. If staying off site book at exactly 30 days in advance. If you want to eat at any table service restaurants in disney you also need to book those in advance. Create an account on My Disney Exoerience and link your tickets then book your meals and FPP.

At both Universal parks go to the Harry Potter areas first.

Oh. The very best advice I can give you is to buy The Unofficial Guide to Disney World and use their Touring Plans. I promise they will be your new BFF and save you hours of time in line. Also available at www.touringplans.com Ideally pay to subscribe for full content access it's very cheap.

Thanks for your quick response, we haven't got a car and are planning to uber and get coaches from our hotels, will all Disney parks be busy(as we would want to use coach from hotel for less busy ones and uber MK or busy ones).

What evening entertainment are there at other parks? Thought it was only fireworks at Disney?

As we're going 2 weeks after the start of Easter will it quiet down abit the second week?

Is there much at Disney springs and would we likely need to book somewhere to eat? Could we do this after a day atEpcot?

Resort shuttles are unlikely to get you to the parks early enough to beat the crowds. If you can't get a car I advise Uber at least to get to them at the start of the day. They will all be busy I'm afraid. MK has a firework show and a parade. Epcot has Illuminations Reflections of Earth. DHS has Fantasmic and Star Wars Fireworks. Animal Kingdom had a new show Rivers of Light. I saw it the week it opened. It's not up to that standard of the other nighttime shows IMO.

Disney Springs is massive. Mostly shopping and restaurants and yes you need to book. There's also a bowling alley, a Cirque du Soleil show and bowling and a great cinema. Very much worth a visit. I'll check the crowd Levels and re post but it should be somewhat quieter your second week.

Yes you could eat at Disney Springs after Epcot there is a bus from Epcot (free) and it stays open late. There are also QS restaurants if you don't want to book somewhere.

If you can get a car your trip will be hugely easier. I get not driving. I won't either so I stay on Disney property. I also take my husband who will drive!

3 days for water parks seems a lot. Will Typhoon Lagoon be open when you are visiting?
Did you mean resort days / water parks? In which case I'd probably agree.

Also, the Space Centre is my favourite non-Disney day :-)
