Hello, friends!
Before last year I had a few tradeable and nontradeable-Disney pins as keepsakes. My how things change
Last year DM and I were headed into The Great Movie Ride, and just before you hop on the tram we were approached by the Dream Team! We barely could concentrate on one of our favorite rides because we were so excited. I had been contemplating all week whether or not to buy a lanyard and start collecting (how can you resist?
) and there we had one for each of us! As you Disers know, the Sorcerer Hat is right outside and we all know what's inside that Sorcerer Hat!
I think we spent the rest of that MGM day pin-hunting!
Below is my lanyard. Not shown here are a few pins I'm willing to part with, but these ones I adore too much to ever give up!
Nonetheless, I will be wearing this lanyard for 11 straight days this December to get completely into the Disney-holiday spirit!
The top one is from Walt's birthday last year, it's probably my favorite pin

World Showcase is in my top five favorite things in all of WDW, so naturally I had to pay homage to all the flags.
Cruella de Ville, a very glittery pin! I
love the Disney villains and Cruella is one of the most wretched, though enjoyable!
This Simba pin actually has a little history! DM bought this for me on our last stay at the Polynesian about four years ago. He was one of my favorites growing up.
We've started a tradition of vacationing the weeks following Thanksgiving. Gotta have a Santa-Minnie by a pretty Christmas tree!

After Haunted Mansion's updates last year, a selection of pins were released dedicated to the refurbishment (and what an amazing one it was!
). HM is my favorite ride/attraction in all of WDW so that one was very necessary!

Port Orleans Resort. It'll be our 2nd stay this year. I was happy I found this one on Ebay because I couldn't find one last December.
Epcot's 25th anniversary was last year! We were lucky to be there for it and Figment's Friend must have her Figment on her lanyard!!
Last year we had been at POFQ all of about five minutes after checking in and I was already purchasing this one!

The jumbo pin. I know how entirely unnecessary this seems to have dangling at the bottom, but how can I not have the fab five on here?
DM and I are attending a total of 4 EMH-night and 2 EMH-morning during this trip. And without wristbands now, I don't want to have to keep taking our KTTW out of our bag to get on every ride
so I was lucky to find two for $15.00 on Ebay! What a bargain! That's my
MVMCP ticket in there already. I'm shocked at how secure that little pocket is, it's even waterproof! Not only can we include our KTTW's, but Fastpasses for easy reach now, too!

In the next week or so I should be making a post dedicated to our pins. We wear 'em loud and proud at Disney, and I managed to win a few recent bids on Ebay for some that I really wanted 
....... and there wasn't!! Empty as can be!!!!!!!!!!!!
