I know I just went last Monday, but after I moved out of my dorm room (yay being done with the first year of college), my mom and I went to DLR for a day yesterday. Here are some of the highlights:
-Rode 20 rides and only used FP for Space. Low crowds all day, it was great.
-Had lunch at the Blue Bayou. Yummy monte cristo sandwich. It was a nice lunch just me and my mom.
-The walls in front of Star Tours came down sometime in between last Monday and yesterday, and the area looks amazing! Also some of the walls by Little Mermaid came down too. See below for pics.
-Watched most of the Sharks game at the ESPN Zone. Yay they won!
-Rode the Mark Twain Riverboat for the first time ever! It was something that I had never done (I know, crazy right?). It was relaxing and enjoyable. We also went into the Main Street Cinema and watched some old cartoons for a bit to take a short break.
-Tried to see the "Magic, Memories, and You" show over by IASW, but it was cancelled. Probably because it was a grad nite and they wanted to get people out of the park as soon as possible.
-On a warm day, the testing Splash boats were such a tease!
-Last time using our Premier Passports.
Sad day.
Anyway, pics as always!!!
Asked for the front on Screamin
Rode Jumpin Jellyfish just to get a peek at Goofy's Sky School. The billboards on top look great!
Walls down at Little Mermaid
Crossing over, Star Tours looks great on the outside too!
The FP return entrance
The queue
A different angle
This sign has really cool shooting star/comet effects
Getting a look inside at R2D2 on the the newly painted starspeeder
And a blurry shot of CP3O.
We'll end with a few random shots:
