I'm stuck here on the couch right now with my back out :headache: . I have my 2 DDs here with me, and I really don't know what I'm going to do with them since I can't move - Even typing is hard on my back!!! Anyway, I was sitting here thinking to myself, "I need to do an itinerary for our Disney trip" Its going to be us, the inlaws, and my parents, and rather than verbally telling everyone what we are doing on what day, this will be much easier/better. I was just wondering who has done this, and how have you formatted it? I'm a real anal pain in the butt with it comes to this stuff, so I really want it to look nice and neat! Any suggestions?? If you have any visuals, like if you scanned it onto your computer or something, that would be great!!!

TIA :flower3:

Also, anyone have any good ideas for what I can do about my back I'd really appreciate it too!! My two neighbors are both physical therapists, and I was about to call one of them over here, but they have both left for work already. I've already taken pain meds, but all they have seemed to do so far is make me a bit dizzy! The pain really isn't in my back, but in my side going to my back, kinda like my ribs or something. About 5-6 years ago I was in an accident and the ciropractor told me that 3 of my ribs had been miss-aligned due to it. I was in so much pain that I could barely breath, but since I was treated for it, its been OK..... don't know if its related, just though I'd bring it up.

PPS - If my sentences aren't very... fluid... sorry, its the meds!!!! :rotfl:

I ended up with my back out in March just a couple of days before we left on our vacation cruise. I went to the ortho and found out that I was having severe back spasms. In addition to anti inflammatories and muscle relaxers, I got vicodin. Didn't do anything at all. Guess it's not the med for me.

Ended up at the chiro (at the ortho's suggestion) and after 2 adjustments, went on my trip like nothing was wrong. I would definitely call the chiro and see if they can get you in on an emergency basis.

Hope you're feeling better soon.

Get off the computer! Holding your head up while you're on your back puts a lot of strain on your neck. Most typing positions are stressful too. Your back needs to rest.

If you have a good chiro, I would give him/her a call. Mine is a miracle worker!

Feel better!!

No help for now, but once you get back on track--Yoga does wonders. Maybe prevent future throw-outs? I use an easy (compared to some) and short DVD called " Stress Relief Yoga" with Suzanne Deason by GAIAM. It is about 15 minutes long and uses yoga "brick" and strap though you could get by without them.

Pain pills, immobility and childcare--not a great mix , i know from trying to do it too! Hope you get some relief soon:)

FYI - My back is feeling a bit better, atleast I can move! I just hope the pain meds hold out till after DD3s ballet class today @ 4:30! Right now I'm planning our wonderful itinerary and having a blast doing it!!!

Call your chiropractor for an appointment, please!

I just popped my back out a few weeks ago and the thing still is giving me attitude! It was something new for me--I've had several spinal injuries and recognize the signs for those, but this completely threw me! *LOL*

Enjoy your planning!
